My grandma on my mom's side died on October-20-2007 at 5:25 a.m. of terminal lung cancer that metastasized (spread) to her brain. Please keep my family and friends in your prayers. We're sad, but okay and holding on strong. If I'm not on here commenting or reading much you know why.

HOMOPHOBIA IS WRONG!
I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.
I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.
I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.
We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.
I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.
I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me.
I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.
I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.
We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.
I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.
I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.
I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.
I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.
I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.
I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.
I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.
I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didnt have to always deal with society hating me.
I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.
I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.

Also our very talented Chindi Yaz has this on her authors page as well and I agree with it. My sister is gay, and no one should be discriminated for sex, race, religion, sexual preference, etc. Let's show love and support to the world.

A girl was at her moms house and her dad came over drunk.
Girl: dad let me drive you home
Dad: i’m fine to drive i’ve done it a lot before
Girl: no one drives fine when there drunk
Dad: leave it alone i’m fine to drive
Girl: fine. don’t talk to me anymore
*OnE wEeK lAtEr*
A girl was walking home with two guy friends, they hear a roaring, the girl turns around and gets hit by a car. She blacks out. One friend runs for help, the other stays with her. When asked in the hospital for a description of the car all she can say was it was a pick up. She got eight stiches above her eye, a broken hand, a badly sprained knee, and a hip out of place. The next day her mother tells her her father had hit her with a truck and had gotten pulled over unaware that he had hit someone.

*A girl and guy were speeding, on a motorcycle, over 90 mph on the road..
Girl: Slow down. I’m scared.
Guy: No, this is fun.
Girl: No, it’s not. Please, it’s too scary!
Guy: Then tell me you love me.
Girl: Fine, I love you. Slow down!
Guy: Now give me a BIG hug.
*Girl hugs him*
Guy: Can you take my helmet off & put it on yourself? It’s bugging me.
(In the paper the next day)
A motorcycle crashed into a building because of break failure. Two people were on it, but only one survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his breaks broke, but he didn’t want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him & felt her hug one last time, then had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die.

ProdigalPoet on October 1HiHi!!! I was browsing through this site again picking out some poems to put on my dorms lavatory scrawl for the week and noticed that you replied to my comment! I guess I don't have notifications set up or something, anyway, so sorry I didn't get back to you! We should get in touch! I might be more frequent on here, but I'm honestly not sure. If you have AIM or MSN or something, we could chat and catch up
