I tell the stories of the world and people of Iluria, along with other distant lands of fantasy and adventure. I have deep and passionate feelings of love and longing, while I share with others my hope for a brighter tomorrow and my fear of a possible dark future. I am a singer/songwriter, and have performed five times at coffee houses. In 2005 I published a poetry book, "Shining Vistas and Dark Shapes" (ISBN: 1-4137-8856-4), which is available from PublishAmerica.com, Amazon.com, and Barnes & Noble. I am currently working on my first novel, "The Maelstrom Of Iluria", which I hope to finish by the summer of 2009. One of my all-time favorite poets and a dear friend, Dspiritsong, was also a member of this poetic community, and I hope she will one day be considered an immortal poet. My silver award cup was for my poem "The Doomed Colony" where I used 34 words from a bank of 37. My bronze award cup was for my 65 verse epic poem, "A Dream Of The End". ~Charles~
