I am Crystal Hope.

I love to write. In fact, I am a writer. It is the only thing I want to do with my life, the only thing that I'm good at, and the only thing I admire about myself. Although I have tried out photography recently and found that it's another art form that I love and excel at.

Sterotype me however you like; I'll accept any label you put on me, because through my writing, I can be anything and everything. Call me pretty and I'll call you a liar, but call my character pretty and I'll call you a visionary. Words are my greatest weapon and yet my worst enemy.

To all my friends outside of school:
The few of you who have supported me and kept in touch have impacted me more than you'll ever know. I think of you everyday, and I'm always with you in spirit. You helped me get through the hassles and struggles of middle school, and now you still help me in high school, by being the friends I need when school gets tough and loving me when I feel alone. I try to see you whenever I can, and I love you all so very much. I hope you never forget me.

To all my friends in school:
Thank you all. Every last one of you have made me feel like I belong somewhere for once in my life. I have never felt so accepted. I want you all to know that no matter how much I might hate you sometimes, I love you. It doesn't matter who you are. If you are a part of our dysnfuctional little family, I have your back. I can't remember the last time I felt happy like this. You let me be myself, and that's the best thing you can do.

To my teachers, past and present:
I just want to thank you all. You've encouraged me to keep going, and not just in my writing, but in all my schoolwork and all my dreams as well. I'm really happy in my new school, and I've actually started to participate more. Everything you teach me makes me better, and I'm one step closer to reaching my goal, whatever that may be.

To my entire family:
You are my support, my rock. There is nothing more to say other than "Thank you so much!" and "I love you!" because when you put all my emotions together, that's the result.

To anyone who has ever hurt me:
With every scar you make, the stronger I become. I forgive you (most of you) and I thank you for the lessons you taught me.

To anyone I have ever hurt:
I am deeply sorry, from the bottom of my heart. I have a lot of regrets, and I've made a lot of mistakes. I know I can be bitchy and selfish and ignorant, but I'm trying to change that. I can't change anything I've done or said in the past, but just know that I'm working on making sure that I never treat anyone badly again.

To my Avatard friends:
Avatar rules! Thanks for making me feel like I'm not the only Avatar-obsessed one out there. I really appreciate it.

To all the stupid adults that ruined the lives of their kids:
I HATE YOU! I hope you burn in Hell! Nothing is worse than watching the lives of people you love fall apart except for watching your own life fall apart. You don't know shit and you need to get some help because you are responsible for someone other than yourself.

To anyone who has a dream:
Go for it. Even if you fail, at least you can say that you tried.

WHAT I THINK ABOUT...

LOVE:
I've been in love, and I am in love. Love is dangerous, and it scares me that it makes me feel so vulnerable. But I've seen other people in love, like my parents, and I know that it's probably a good thing. I just have to find someone. And not having someone shouldn't bother anyone, because being single is just as much of a blessing.

CHILDREN:
I hate kids. They are annoying and loud and tough to figure out. I realize that I'm only 16, but I babysat one summer and I will never do it again. It doesn't matter what age they are, they could be older than me, even, and I'd still hate kids.

ATHEISTS:
I don't have a problem with letting other people believe what they believe. But the way I see it, there are two types of atheists: polite atheists and obnoxious atheists. I have both polite and obnoxious atheist friends, and I love them all. However, I prefer having conversations with polite ones rather than obnoxious ones. Polite atheists will speak their mind, but they won't overdo it or bash other religions. They don't make others uncomfortable. Obnoxious atheists will ridicule your beliefs and bash religion overall.

SEX:
Don't have sex unless you are really truly, totally in love with that person or you are being physically threatened. No one should let others pressure them into having sex, unless that person is basically raping them. Many people don't survive rape, but if it is date rape, then the only time you should be pressured is if that person threatens your safety. They can take away everything you love, but if you let it happen without a physical threat, then you lose just as much.

BEAUTY:
I'm not one of those people who preaches inner beauty, although I do believe in it. I'm not pretty; I know this. Most of my friends are very beautiful, inside and out. I'm slightly envious of beautiful people, but I make up for my plain appearance with a unique style that I can call my own.

DANCE:
I despise dancing. I think that most dancing is very beautiful, and a true art when done correctly by the right person. However, I hate to dance and am completely and utterly terrified of doing so. Nothing could possibly change my mind, either.

CUTTING:
It's just plain bad. I don't give a shit why you do it. All I know is that it is extremely difficult to stop and it can really hurt you and everyone that loves you. If you cut, find help and just STOP. If you don't cut, don't ever start. It ruins lives and friendships that were never meant to be destroyed.

GLOBAL WARMING:
I'm going through a crazy activist phase. I feel the NEED to help stop global warming. I started a recycling program at my school, and I've started being a lot more conscious of what I do that effects global warming.

HOMOSEXUALITY:
Love can take any form it pleases. It's no disease, it's no sin, it's no mental condition. We have the capacity to love, so go ahead and love whoever you like.

THE BIBLE:
I don't believe in most of what the Bible says. It's mostly just stories. God did not write the Bible. A man wrote the Bible, with help from God. Why should I believe that a lesbian who practices witchcraft will go straight to Hell, no matter how much good she does? The real Bible exists in our hearts and souls, it is the one thing that tells us right from wrong.

BRITNEY SPEARS:
That poor girl. I don't admire her at all, in fact I despise what she has become. But nobody is making it any easier on her. Paparazzi reporters are watching her every move and saying stuff about her. Her old employees are talking bad about her. Her children have been taken away. I cannot imagine the pain she must be going through, with her every mistake being broadcast around the world. I'm proud that she has gotten back into the music, because you can tell that is what she lives for in the end.

WATER BOARDING:
I think that if water boarding is effective, it should be used only for the worst crimes. It worked well on the terrorists. Why should we ban it if it keeps our people safe? It is a form of torture, but they know that they will not die. It works; we should save the idea for national safety.

ABORTION:
I am pro-choice. I'm not saying people should use it as birth control, but every woman should have the choice to bring someone into this world or not. If the pregnancy was unwanted, whether it was from rape or a broken condom or if the parents just realized that they cannot support the child, I believe abortion is the proper path to take. There are already so many unwanted, neglected, abused, or unhealthy children. You see them on the streets and in the courts. Most of them are victims of a parent's bad choice. Abortion is sometimes a mercy killing, because it would be wrong to bring a child into a world where nobody wants him or her.

POLITICS:
I am a proud Obama fan! WHOOOOOOO!

A motorcycle crashed into a building because of break failure. Two people were on it, but only one survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his breaks broke, but he didn’t want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him & felt her hug one last time, then had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die.
