Hi, I'm Alyssa. I'm pretty awesome. I'm a senior in high school and excited as hell about graduating, a little nervous too. I was accepted to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in late September of this and am very excited to be a Spartan next year. I'm going for a major in forensic science and a minor in creative writing. I'm going to be living on campus and have an awesome dorm room just cause I'm amazing like that. But anyway, enough about college. I'll explain more about me. I'm a pretty fun loving person and love life. I'll admit, I've had some bad things happen to me(which is why poetry is pretty dark, my friend calls me the female Edgar Allen Poe) and I've done some things that aren't too great, but overall I'm happy with who I am. I'm also very open minded. My favorite band is Evanescence, and I dress a lot like Amy Lee, but I don't really consider myself gothic. Also, I know this may sound weird, but I'm afraid of clowns and deep water. Clowns just freak the crap out of me, and I'm not really sure why I'm afraid of deep water. Nothing happened to me at all with it. My psychology teacher tried to figure something out about it, but she couldn't. Granted, she's also an idiot. A few of my heroes are my dad, Amy Lee, Dr. Zahi Hawass, Adam Savage, Jamie Hyneman and Kari Byron. I adore my family, they're all insane, but I love them. I have quite a few animals at my house. I have a bird named Ratchet, a German Shepherd named Schindler, a Boxer named Liberty, a Lab-Chow mix named Happy, and 4 cats named Auggy, Kelly, Shamoo and Sam.

My favorite: band is Evanescence.
My favorite: food is way too many to put.
My favorite: possession is my birdie.
My favorite: soda is Cream Soda, but since I can't get it often, it's Dr. Pepper.
My favorite: colors are blue, red and black.
My favorite: television show is Supernatural.
My favorite: television station is the Discovery Channel.

Now let me explain my writing. It's pretty dark for the most part, but I lke how something can be made to sound beautiful even when it's not. It's probably my best talent. It helps me release my emotion and keeps my head from exploding. My writing is also very inspired by Evanescence, Lacuna Coil and Nightwish.

I had to do a play with 4 other people in my school on this, so I had to decifer the words that he used, and it was just a really fun challenge.
