Well I heard about this site from a friend of mine. I read all his poems and have even added some other poets to my favorites list.
Ok about me: I am 28 years old and I am a full time single mom of a daughter who was born on October 3rd. I live with her at my parents for now because I'm not getting any child support since I left her father over 2 years ago.
There are two sayings I believe in and those are: "Love conquers all (that is if the love is strong enough between both people in the relationship)"
and
"Everything happens for a reason, and fate doesn't care weather you agree with it or not".
I hope to make new friends while on all poetry... but if I don't that's ok too. Just like I'm looking forward to reading (and commenting) on all your poems, I hope you're looking forward to reading all of mine (and if possible commenting on them).

I'm working a part time job and also going to college. I just started classes in august and am going for my associates degree in Graphic Publishing, or something along those lines. With a little luck I shall be graduating in 2010.
I'm in a relationship with a man who is wonderful to me. I'm in love with him as much as I love my own daughter and he loves the both of us just as much. We've been together for 1 year today and have talked about living together and marriage. I am ready for him to ask me the big question, and I'm hoping that he will tonight(he did say he has something special planed).
Other then that there's nothing new in my life. If there are any changes I'll try to get on and keep you all updated. Or if I get a chance to write any poems, once I get outta of a writers block. Catch ya'll laters.

And i know all to well bout cutting i use to do it on and off since 6th grade, but then last year i steped it up and quite the cutting and went to the burning. All i have to say is thank you for my freinds cuz one of them did what i did and she told me i need to stop. If i didnt i prob would have continue till the point i wouldnt be here. Now i have a boyfriend who loves and cares for me, freinds, and poetry to help me vent. I hope you stopped cuz its not worth having scars on ur body forever to remeber how stupid you are. And im speaking from experience.
