Two years has passed since I edited this site, and I haven't written a poem since. But I feel strange tonight. I'm angry, and lonely, and sitting in the dark. A piano is playing.The moon should be shining through my window, illuminating my prone, brooding form. That's almost too perfect.

In truth, the moon is hidden tonight, only clouds outside my window. The piano is an iPod, and my hair too wet from the shower to drape dramatically on the pillows. But the darkness, at least is complete. I am thinking again, more on my mind besides college and money and a certain boy. I am truly miserable again, and weight of the world on my shoulders feels nostalgic.. and welcoming. I've missed the dark, I've missed the drama, I've missed "no one understands me." I've missed being alone, I've missed the emptiness, I've missed the monsters in my head.

For once, there is more in the dim of this chamber besides night time horrors, and i am not afraid.
