Sedated AffectionShow poetry

My inspirations generally consists of:

1. My Thoughts
2. Total Randomness
3. Family
4. Friends
5. And other random things

My main inspiration is my fellow sister in crime, Angel of Night, if she hadn't convinced me to join this site I would have never gotten back into my writing.

My poems generally start out as rambling or song lyrics and transform into poems near the end. A lot of the times a lot of my poetry is me observing other people and what they are going through and putting it in my own words. And like most other poetry it is generally filled with a lot of emotion, even if it is not my own.

I am a music fanatic... I would be miserable if I didn't have music. I oddly enough can listen to WAMZ (my local country station) and then switch it right to WLRS (My local hard rock station) without missing a beat! Do it all the time too. Drives my family nuts...LOL!

Most people sit and write their poetry where as I just get on here and make it up as I go along then I read it but I never edit... because in my opinion the first one's always the best... the most raw.

My FAVORITE Poem

Robert Frost
Fire & Ice

Some say the world will end in fire;
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
