It’s 2006!! [I’m sure you know that by now]. Anyway, I’ve got news! Every month this year, I’m going to put out a contest. I’m a fair judge, and I always comment on the entries, so I like to think my contests are a pleasure to enter. Anyway, I wanted to name the contests after the month, but my sister made fun of me. So that didn’t happen.
As I put out each contest, I’m going to list them here on my authors page, along with a link and th name of the first place winner and a link to their winning poem. if you like what I'm doing, then you can come to my page to find my monthly contests, i'll have it here the day it's out, so they will be easy to find. My contests are interesting (to me anyway) so I think people would be interested in seeing the winners. Without further ado…

George Orwell once said (well, wrote) that the oppressed are'nt aware that they are oppressed unless they have something to compare their situation to. I find that to be an interesting truth.

So that I wont forget, I would really appreciate it if you would send me links to a few of your pieces so I don't forget to return the favor.
