Roses are red,
violets are blue.
I joked on this website,
because I had nothing better to do.
Rroses are red,
and most have a thorn.
It's better to give a loved one a flower,
than a stalk of corn.
Rrroses are red,
and my poems are silly.
I write funny things,
and type like a hillbilly.
Rrrroses are red,
and most crap is brown.
I can play the fool,
or I can play the clown.
Rrrrroses are red,
violets aren't green.
Somethings I said,
could be misconstrued as mean.
Rrrrrroses are red,
no need for alarm.
Nothing I wrote,
was meant to cause harm.
Rrrrrroses are... white!
What is this about,
That last quip I wrote,
really had clout.
Rrrrroses are... violet?
This just isn't me,
emotions, art and feelings,
aren't things that I envy.
Rrrroses are... black,
and some people wrap themselves in bubbles.
The poems they post here,
are how they release troubles.
Rrroses are... brown,
green, blue and yellow.
Some times soft words
make suicidal thoughts mellow.
Rroses are many colors,
and yes all do have a thorn.
We have all found love and beauty in life.
as well as sorrow and mourn.
Roses are red,
but never by choice.
