I'm an eclectic soul who thinks that there is more to the world than meets the eye.
Ponder
Ponder with me
for a moment
if you will...
Imagine
being different
from everyone
you know.
Never
fitting in
anywhere…
Being in a crowded room
yet
being alone...
Having "friends"
whom you had
nothing in common with...
Wandering around the depths of your mind
knowing that those around you will never understand
the thoughts and ideas that reside there...
Picture yourself
hiding in the place
that you know
will comfort you…
The darkness...
It doesn't have to be
a sad, depressing, morbid place
that engulfs you.
It is only the place
you know
and call home.
Lurking in the shadows of your mind
and letting your imagination empower you
to the point you know you don't have all the answers;
But yet,
letting you know that
you are safer here.
Amongst those who also call it home,
you are able to find a release,
some answers,
and much need friendships
that you have never had before.
What do you do now?
Do you submerge yourself into the darkness,
trusting that it cannot possibly
be worse than the light?
Or do you take caution
and proceed slowly?
Or, is running the option
that you choose?
Take my hand and walk with me,
as I tell you my story.
Bleed with me,
and engulf yourself
into my life,
my existence...
