Hi, I am the girl known as Lady Rahab (or Rae) and welcome to my author page. I have one blue eye, one green eye and brown hair. I'm about 5' 4". I'm 215 and trying to lose, but I join Tyra Banks in saying "So what?!", because even if I don't lose all the weight I want, I'm still trying to eat healthy and that matters more than being thin.
I'm not really sure how long I've been writing, but I have my senior English teacher to thank for it. She is the one who first told me I had talent. Thanks, Mrs. Sloan.
I write about a variety of things, from the silly to the very serious, the happy to the depressing. I write to express myself, sure, but mostly because I love it.
Probably the most noticeable thing about me is my faith. I think my love of writing and art stem from the fact that I am created in God's likeness, and God Himself is creative. My Christian life is more than a religion to me. It's about my relationship with Jesus, like a marriage that will never end. It's like any marriage, with it's ups and downs, but He is always here for me when I need Him.
To read my testimony of faith, called "From Religion to Faith," go here.
My favorite TV shows include: Law & Order SVU, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, Smallville, CSI: Miami and others.
My favorite musical artists/bands include: Jennifer Knapp, Superchic[k], Barlow Girl, All Together Separate, Shane & Shane, David Crowder, and others.
Some quotes (more to be added as they come):
"Sometimes the most real things in this world are the things we can't see." -- The Polar Express

ScarletMatriarch on December 3, 2004Me too! Last week I went to my local Christian bookstore, and I ended up buying two of their CDs. I hope I'll still have enough to get other people presents
I feel so bad!
