WOW! I really need to update this. Currently I do not have a gold or silver membership but I hope to be financially stable soon in order to do so.
I am a black and white person on many things. I'm getting a divorce from my husband that I have been with for three years. Its very hard but I know that no matter what happens to us, we'll at the very least, be the best of friends and thats more than some couples get when they separate and/ or get a divorce.
I am a Christian but I am NOT the hypocritical type that judges. I'm one of the most non judgemental people you'll ever meet. I am damaged and I know that you are too. If ever you need to talk or need someone to lean on, I am always here.
I lost my mom July 3rd 2008. I miss her everyday and more than anyone else in this UNIVERSE. I also lost my dad August 13th 2002. I miss them so much. I have also lost a few best friends and I have somehow been able to live on, ONLY by the strength that God gives me.
You will find quickly in my writings that they are all very personal or close to the heart of my life. Even the poems I write for others have some pieces of me. I am very excited to be back on here and catch up with both old and new friends on here.
MY NEW FOUND FRIEND HopelessPoet1087 sent me this mg and I wanted all of you to read this. I don't think this is any other song that is relatable to how I'm feeling right now with my mom and angels gone.....
actually... there was a show on broadway, it just got taken off, called spring awakening.... i think you will enjoy this song, its called "those You've known".... well here it is... hope you enjoy :-)
MORITZ
Those you’ve known
And lost, still walk behind you
All alone
They linger till they find you
Without them
The world grows dark around you
And nothing is the same until you know that they have found you
WENDLA
Those you’ve pained
May carry that still with them
All the same
They whisper: “All forgiven.”
Still your heart says
The shadows bring the starlight
And everything you’ve ever been is still there in the dark night
BOTH
When the northern wind blows
The sorrows your heart holds
There are those who still know –
They’re still home
We’re still home
MELCHIOR (Sung in Counterpart)
Thought you know
You’ve left them far behind
You walk on by yourself, and not with them –
Still you know
They will fill your heart and mind
When they say there’s a way through this
MELCHIOR (Sung Alone)
Those you’ve known
And lost, still walk behind you
All alone
Their song still seems to find you
They call you
As if you knew their longing –
They whistle through the lonely wind, the long blue shadows falling
All alone
But still I hear their yearning
Through the dark, the moon, alone there, burning
The stars too
They tell of spring returning –
And summer with another wind that no one yet has known
They call me –
Through all things –
Night’s falling
But somehow I go on
You watch me
Just watch me –
I’m calling
From longing
WENDLA & MORITZ
When the northern wind blows
The sorrows your heart’s known –
I believe…
MELCHIOR (Sung in Counterpart)
Still you known
There’s so much more to find –
Another dream, another love you’ll hold
Still you know
To trust your own true mind
On your way – you are not alone
There are those who still know
MELCHIOR (Sung Alone)
Now they’ll walk on my arm through the distant night
And I won’t let them stray from my heart
Through the wind, through the dark, through the winter light
I will read all their dreams to the stars
I’ll walk with them now
I’ll call on their names
I’ll see their thoughts are known
Not gone –
Not gone –
They walk with my heart –
I’ll never let them go
I’ll never let them go
I’ll never let them go
You watch me
Just watch me
I’m calling
I’m calling –
And one day all will know

Twin!
How are you? Judging from the posts I see here, somewhat in the doldrums again, so I am worried
That is not to say I am not there myself--I am. I lost my mom on Dec. 13th, between my birthday and Christmas (and to make it worse I had a migraine that made me sick the whole day before). I know how it feels now, and it's....excruciating. (It hurts even more when, as a single person with no children as of yet, you realize your kids will never have a grandmother.) You and I have been through a lot of the same things, haven't we? It sucks, but at the same time you know you have a kindred spirit.
Hey, you. Call me sometime and give me an update on how you are doing. I will send you the number privately. I don't come on here often enough these days--between working and looking for work and all the other "responsible" stuff, there's little spare time. Hope to hear from you soon!
~love always, Raven
