I love writing. Though I do as much as it as I should. If I write I'm either finding a way to get the angst out of me, or expressing how much i love some one. hope you enjoy my poems.

J Rhys Davies on September 9, 2004Hi-ya Sanity Eclipse!
My name is John and I am one of the Greeters here at AllPoetry . I just wanted to stop by and welcome you to this wonderful site. This is a great place to come and nurture your writing skills. There are many ways to do this: reading other poet’s work, entering into contests, joining classes and / or reading works from AllPoetry’s sister site www.oldpoetry.com .
As a new member, you will notice that you have a 4-day trial Preferred Membership. Once those four days are up, don’t worry, you will still be able to post your work, and comment on other’s work as well, you just won’t have the perks that a membership provides to you. If you are interested in maintaining your membership, you can purchase one from our Store.
We are an interactive community. To encourage participation, we ask that you comment on at least 4 poems for each 1 you post. Also, try to remember to keep returning the favor when you get a comment on your work.
If you ever need
with anything, there is a Help tab at the top of the page. Or you can contact any one of the Moderators highlighted in BLUE or Greeters highlighted in GREEN. We are all here to help you with any questions you might have. Simply click on the (IM) next to the name and send us a message.
