Want to inspire my muse? Well, I love writing poetry, and all it takes to really get it started are a few good words. So if you IM me with words that you'd like to see me put in a poem form, and perhaps even a theme for them to be put to, I will do my best to write such a poem. So go ahead, inspire me to write more!

For all of my life I have been trying to figure out what my purpose is, my reason for going on living, because it is all that's been keeping me alive since I was 7, when I first became very suicidal. Now, I should have known then that I was a lesbian, but in my mind that was wrong and you had to like the opposite sex, so I went on beliving I was straight. Yes I was that mature then. Now, I finally discovered the truth this past year, and I won't go into that whole story, and now that I know what I truly am, that being a lesbian, I know for a fact what my purpose in life truly is. For the past few months I have been becoming more and more active in Gay Rights, and it has shown me that my purpose in life is to open up the way for homosexuals everywhere. I can't tell you how I know this, it's just a feeling deep in my heart. So just like Susan B. Anthony, Martain Luther King Jr., and numerous other people, I am going to follow this path. I am going to make a difference in this world, and I am going to do it in any way I can just short of violence.

*Now, onto my bio...*
About my poetry... Well, it's definately very unique and it all depends on my mood of the day. ^.^ I often write straight from my heart, so a lot of this is just me spilling my guts. I'm sure a lot of you know how this is. There are times though when I just randomly take two words and make a poem. A lot of my poetry is written just because I want to use a certin word in a piece of writing. ^.^
I have been writing poetry since about the fifth grade, and I am very proud at how my work has improved over the years. I have to thank all of my wonderful English teachers and friends for that though because I never could have done it without them. Thanks guys, you know who you are.
On here I am hoping to get even more feedback so that I can furthur improve in my style and technique. So don't feel hesitant to read my poems and give me good advice and ways to improve! I'll appriciate it very much! ^.^
Right now though I'm just trying to get out of highschool and off to college. In my spare time I am always on the computer, if possible. And while I'm on here I add poetry to my account here, or I write more. And I also chat with all my inspirational friends. They have got to be the only reason I am able to write poetry, they give me purpose.
Some stuff about me... well I am a very spiritual person. I believe in the other realm of fantasy and demons, and other such non-human creatures. And I am quite into the use of herbs as remedies and the power of stones. I'm not too fond of modern medicine, and I try to avoid it at all costs.
As for religion, since that is such a huge topic now-a-days, I consider myself Shinto. It is a Japanese religion, well, more like way of life, that worships the honorable kami, or sacred/divine things of this natural world. Anything can hold a kami, the ground, fire, water, air, clouds, sky, ect... By honoring them we stay in balance with this world around us. However, I am also a bit of a satanist because Lucifer is a major person in my life. But Shintoism isn't my only interest. I am also a bit Buddhist because Buddhism is a great religion to me as well. And the laws of karama are definately sensible ones. Incredibally sensible ones. I enjoy it so much. Here also, I respect the Ancient Ones, and trust them to guide me as well. So I'm a mixture of a lot of things. It's really hard to say for the most part. I even have a friend who's close to me teaching me about Wiccan! ^.^
_*PHANTOM OF THE OPERA*_
I am also a big fan of the Phantom of the Opera! That movie kicks some serious bum!!! If you haven't seen it yet, you need to watch it. As soon as I can I am going to get down to NYC to see it performed on Broadway! O.O Gods that will be so utterly amazing. I am also working on getting the book and the special edition soundtrack from it! ^.^ If you're also a big Phantom of the Opera fan, leave me a message here on my page!
