i apologize if i underestimate you,
but what have you ever proved to me?

it doesn't matter if you're not conventionally beautiful,
some of the most beautiful things
are unconventional.

city ruins and castle walls
built inside my mind anymore.
"kill the lights.
these children learn from cigarette burns,
fast cars, fast women, and cheap tricks.
it feels right.
all these asphyxiated, self-medicated;
