I was a teenage runaway. I do not write fiction. All of my work is based on my life. It is my way of dealing with the past, and sometimes the present.
If you are curious as to why I ran away, you can find the answers in my poems Runawaytrainoutofcontrol and Abandonment Issues.
I am married with two beautiful children.
I took over as Poetry Director for Allwrite Magazine in December 2004. I am really enjoying it, as well as writing reviews for Allwrite.
I thought that I was soaring like an eagle
I thought that I was roaring like the wind
I thought that I had surly reached the end now
but I can't remember anywhere I've been
Was I looking for a star
or something out behind it?
Whatever I was looking for
I surely did not find it
and for all my sky high journeies
the only thing I know
is that you always almost lose yourself
when you let yourself go
lyrics by Harry Chapin

Who was it that said a poem is never finished, simply abandoned? I feel that way about my poetry.
