Rubee• Show poetry

Hello everyone   I guess by now it's pretty much known that my name is not Rubee LOL  I do sign all my poetry. Anyway, I'm a housewife, mother and grandmother, living in the northern tundra of Sk Canada LOL. I've been writing since I was young. My granddaughter has taken an interest in writing as well, so it's nice to think that she is much like me   I really enjoy this site. I've met so many wonderful and friendly people. Thanx for all making me feel so welcome here


My favorite Poem

BROKEN DREAMS

As children bring their broken toys
with tears for us to mend
I brought my broken dreams to God
because he was my friend
But then instead of leaving Him
in peace to work alone
I hung around and tried to help
with ways that were my own
At last I snatched them back
and cried
"How can you be so slow?"
"My child", He said,
"What could I do?
.......you never did let go."
