Poetry is written art that helps our souls heal.

Let the ink flow and your fingers dance

- for it is our pen and our ability to type that keeps us sane inside  -

A little bit more My Favourite Sport

Apart from writing poetry, I also participate in amature armwrestling.

I am the South Africa Ladies under 65 kg champion for 2007 & 2008.

Unfortunately this is leading to me having to train overtime to keep ahead of the pack and thus my time online has become very very limited, but I will still drop by every so often to catch a read.

A little bit more about Me

I have no specific style and write as the moment sees fit.

It is never easy to put words to paper that may come back to haunt you at a later date but a true poet fears not for the future for they love to delve in the past.

I was born in Whyalla, South Australia but moved to South Africa at the age of 10.

My parents never settled down anywhere for long and thus in South Africa I have lived in places like (not in this order) Kimberley, Witbank, Heidelberg, Piet Retief, Newcastle, Nelspuit, Balfour, Ladysmith, Ngodwana, Waterval Boven, etc. -  you get the picture.  I have also lived in Scottborough, Pennington and Pietermaritzburg.  Note this does not include Australia nor New Zealand.

I now live in Pretoria, have two great kids - a son and a daughter and a wonderful husband, and of course fellow armwrestler.

Quotes by Rosemary:

No one can say every day is a good day - if you do that, you are not only lying to others, but to yourself too.

Poetry is written art that helps our souls heal.

In this life we cannot impress everyone, but the few we do are more important than the many we don't.
