Rose Angel

Welcome to my page...as you leaf through the pages of the collection of my poetry, it is on a lot of subjects,,,a lot is inspirational, birthed from visions, dreams, pictures in my mind that give the theme for my writing..If you do not know me yet, I have a strong faith in the Lord Jesus whom  I have known from an early age...He has colored my world with a love for His world, nature, and the human soul as He loves everyone.

My Poem "With Arms of Grace" tells of my story from childhood to present..

My poems can be thought of as a painting, i wish to make a statement, bring some thought, a truth, some beauty to the reader as one viewing one ..May I leave a lasting impression!.Bless you for coming by!

i am not on here as much right now..many demands.

i may surprise you however,, with some inspirational

words dropped in my spirit to be shared.

Isn't that how an artist and poet operates..

a word, some verses, a thought, and to my stylus i go!

expressions work within as fire has to be released to bring the creativity to be kindled in another heart!

while i am here and there, just know you are all loved and missed! rosemary

i love the sea...

a friend charles sammons wrote this poem for a contest i had some time ago that really expresses and characterizes her for what she is like...lovely personification, i treasure it..

i drift here
gurgled in swells
the spray-my sweat
my legs walk
in rudderless depths
my brow-crusted salted shade
my eyes-schools of silver flashing
my arms-brownish green seaweed
metered slowly back and forth
ribbons in this wind
tips forever reaching in quiet prayer
to drink brave helios
softly filtered drowning ...disappearing
my taste-broken coral
washed and bleached
mixed in bottom sands
someday a beach
where children play
where lovers walk and make their vows
my soul-gulls crying to the wind
on their forever search
in the middle of blue
that's where i came to be
and my heart moves in every swell it's always the ocean

through life i have a few quotes that are my own:

" sometimes a person's story is even more interesting

than what he or she creates, but don't forget what they create!"

"we have to move on...life will not wait for us"

the following poem i wrote to share how i feel about creativity. it is a god given gift that is to be shared.

a comment by tomisb that i have made as his quote:

you know, sometimes i think the gift of creation is a form of love and sharing. how often are we surprised and delighted by the wonder we feel from our experience of a loved ones art. every work of art is personal. not because it is a memory or a story about us. no, it is personal because we are changed by every act of creation. we are truly fortunate, when in creating we are purified a little more and see a little more clearly how it all fits, receive another glimmer of wisdom. every artist knows their hardest job is in being ready to receive gifts and knowing how to share them.

i would like to express about painters and poets, but my dear ap niece amera

http://allpoetry.com/poem/6909269

i believe in the unconditional love of god, his word is true, i believe in his angels at work protecting us, helping us and his holy spirit...

it is not for me to judge anyone, but to forgive and show god's love and help others along the path of life.

my ap daughter rachel wrote this poem about angels to inspire me...hoping it will inspire you too!

"when your words become wings to rescue another from the troubles

                      of their minds,

when your words become strong arms to hold another close

                     in comforting embrace,

when your words encourage someone to take one more step

                     of hope,

then you become an angel in a human sense of the word!

poem for me by my friend hikari lady

http://allpoetry.com/poem/5665747

a poem for me by my sister reptile lady

new day breeches its shy eyes
sweet sentiments, sweeter sorrow..
we weep joy
we weep sadness..
peace, for the harmony sings spring..
her thoughts mingle along the sea's shoreline
buttering circles as the sandy grains warmth.
love's unconditional breathes
early air circulation absorbing life
to which we wait and welcome...

also another by her called butterflies and wings

that expresses her desire as mine in this time

of fragility, in caring for a loved one, the hopes

and dreams to be our own person again...the

women of our destiny....

"beauty of innocence

youth tethers no boundaries

nor shall it falter..

for the innocence of beauty bestows

we are to take the wings

fly upon the butterfly stretch

reaching

as the heart sung songs

breathe aura

upon fragile china."

a poem that expresses my heart for painting,

my dreams,  and a little of who i am, characterized by roaddog wolf, a poet brother and friend...

http://allpoetry.com/poem/3430718

a special tribute from my dear friend, liam

there are those who walk this earth,
kind loving souls,
who do good deeds,
bring no harm,
and care for their family.

then there is the extraordinary,
a soul who cares for humanity,
who loves unconditionally,
who see the good in the very least
of us.
one who cradles our words and hold our hearts
as if we were her very own,
who has a world of hurt of her own
but find it heals her soul to heal others.
no man could have a better friend
if ever fortunate enough
to know one of this spirits..
she will lift you up,
and turn you around,
to see that there is good in this world,
that all is never lost,
i speak of her today,
one that has blessed my days
from the moment we meet,
some may think i speak of an angel,
but the ones that know,
just call her rosemary.

god bless you always lass,
i will always love your gypsy heart.

liam

a favorite song of van morrison

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeuyoymif0q

humorous tribute to me by earsto hear you.

it is titled:

the feminine nature of divorce

a recent poem written for me by brother danny boy

sometimes when the load is heavy
and you can't get off the ground
don't forget that god is watching
knowing it's by choice you're bound.

bound to make the world better
bound to care when others don't.
god will free you from the fetter
let you fly when others won't.

all his angels band together
lifting up the one who chose
faith in god to lose the tether,
thus another angel rose.

all those who have been in my poetry family will remain so, unless you advise me of the change....i  will update in the fall...

i should mention i have over three hundred and fifty trophies, but by mistake they were deleted.
