When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'."
I'm whispering "I was lost,
Now I'm found and forgiven."
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
And need His strength to carry on!
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
And need God to clean my mess.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible
But, God believes I am worth it.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner
Who received God's good grace, somehow.
I am a 22 year old female soon to turn 23,
I am into singing, writing poetry, and getting to meet new people. I am a CHRISTIAN woman that knows the LORD loves her.

Just wanted to stop by and share some of the light I was given last weekend at a spiritual retreat.

God smiles on those who have Him on their mind.
He is come to release them from the bind
That Satan wishes he could ever hold.
Under angels wings we are in the fold.
Blessed be the one that forever declares;
That they are His wheat and not wild grown tares.
If we but settle ourselves, quiet, still...
There are miracles He has to reveal.
Everyday reconnect with the Master.
Let your day be filled with joy and laughter.
Of this life each moment we must savor.
Be assured that you are in His favor.
For the awesome God that He is ever.
Will never leave or forsake, not ever.
