Sector-Hunter on May 21, 2004Hi I would like to welcome you to Allpoetry. I hope you enjoy it here and have fun with your 4 day Preferred membership. With it you can upload backgrounds and pictures onto your poems and Author page.
Once the 4 day trial expires the pictures will disappear but don’t worry you can still post your poems. (If you want to buy a Membership see the ’Store’ top right.)
For every poem you post try to read and comment on at least four other poets work. This can begin to get your own name and work recognised and will bring other people to read and comment on yours. Commenting on poems will earn points One more of the ways to earn points is to enter contests and get a placing. You can use the points to promote your poems and any others you really like.
We have an interactive chatterbox where you can talk to the other members, please do not ask people to read your poems, it is not allowed and can run the risk of a point fine. Please also read our rules and polices allpoetry.com/special/policies
Any questions you may need answered can either be answered on our Help pages or by any Greeter or Moderator highlighted in the ‘On line’ box to the side.
