Thanks for visiting and reading some of my poetry (should you choose to).
As for me, I'm a 45 year old man living in Indiana, USA (for the last 14 years anyway). Grew up in Missouri and lived 15 years in California before moving here.
I've been married to my lovely wife for 24 years and we have 4 kids (2 girls and 2 boys) ranging from 15 to 22 years old.
While in college I wrote poems and short stories, but had stopped writing some 20 years ago as life got busier. I started again almost 2 years ago, encouraged by my wife wishing she had her poet back.
I truly enjoy writing and look forward to opportunities to do so each week. I hope you find something here that touches you or makes you laugh or makes you smile.
Thanks,
Rick

You write with a passion from the heart and your words seduce the paper as well as the reader. I so appreciate your comments and if it is alright I would love to add you to my favorites. Blessings...
p.s. I am a former northerner myself, born and raised in N. Iowa. I have only lived in Texas for the past two yrs. I love it here.
Patty
