Clothing:
AKIKO~ A pink and white furisode with a light blue sash around her waist, tied neatly in a large bow at the back. Simple make up for a geisha. Her bun in her hair is usually decorated with a few flowers, and a light blue ribbon, to match her sash.
TEIJI~ A white and blue kimono.
KAEMON~ A white hakama with an odd frowning design on the front of it, and bindings around her torso and arms, plus what seems to be a light, blue vest.
MARO~ Uhh... all dark red clothing, sleeve-less and a really long and somewhat tattered scarf. Dark red wrist bands, and on the front of what seems to be his trousers is an odd smiling design on the front of it.
SHODA~ A brown one piece garment that reaches the floor, a pair of getas and a cream colored robe over it, which has two blue spheres at the bottom on either sides of the opening in the front of it. A bamboo coolie hat that has a parchment with a red eye painted on it on the front of it, and it's large enough to cover his eyes.
MAEKO~ The traditional red and white robes of a Shrine Maiden (or Miko), reaching down to the floor. Her hair is tied back with a red ribbon. And a demonic parasol. More about that in the equipment section.

Weight: Ok, I'm too lazy to calculate, but none of them weighs more than 80lbs.

Physical build: Light

Dominant Hand:
AKIKO~ Left.
TEIJI~ Right.
KAEMON~ Right.
MARO~ Naturally left handed, but has trained himself to be ambidextrous.
SHODA~ Right.
MAEKO~ Left.

Alignment (good, evil, neutral, float your own boat, what?): Loyal only to each other, so lines tend to be blurred. Besides that, most of them are mildly good, save for Maro and Maeko's parasol, who are mildly evil.

Equipment:
AKIKO~ A shamisen. When played, the notes come out rich on their own (without her singing). When someone listens to it over a period of time, they begin to have vivid hallucinations that can be either pleasant or horrid.
TEIJI~ He doesn't seem to have much, besides his collection of tea pots. It's like he has different ones for different people, either to cater to their taste or sedate them.
KAEMON~ None.
MARO~ That scarf of his. It tends to snap off and wrap around his target, binding them and not letting go. It also regenerates on its own, which means cutting through it won't help anything.
SHODA~ He carries an everlasting scroll of blank parchment, and a good calligraphy brush at all times. When he paints a character or a plain picture, they come to life, and have the option of staying on the parchment or coming out into the 3 dimensional world as nothing more than moving inkblots and paper.
MAEKO~ Her pink demonic parasol. It has one eye and somehow a blue tongue wagging out from that eye. It has a mind of its own, and can multiply/shrink in size every which way, as far as needed, as large as needed.
It can also rain inside itself when Maeko asks it to. It drizzles acid that changes according to what Maeko wants it to burn through (like, a type of acid that she designates for paper won't work on anything else but paper) and flowers that release millions of very small, invisible-to-the-naked-eye spores that suffocate the victim.

Weapons:
AKIKO~ None.
TEIJI~ None.
KAEMON~ A 3' katana with a stainless steel blade, tempered to resist a good many things, and with a good sheath to keep it sharp always. It also contains some Ice power of its own, since any wound it causes is thoroughly frozen, along with the sorrounding area, preventing any regeneration and/or healing of the wound as long as the sword is intact.
MARO~ Two 3' katanas, neither of which he bothers to sheathe, which means they dull out sometimes, but he can also be found sharpening them constantly to keep them sharp enough to draw blood upon touch. One of them has a gold blade, and the other has a silver blade. Maro can slap both blades together and they join into one katana, one face gold, the other face silver. In this state, they gain the ability to coax the blood of an enemy out through the pores of their skin if it's within a 2ft radius from the target's skin; most definitely a painful and air-headed experience for the victim. If the skin doesn't have any pores, then the blood shall collect underneath the skin and form kewl bubbles that can be popped. Anywho, the victim is losing blood from their circulatory system, so not a good thing.
SHODA~ A 4'5" wooden staff.
MAEKO~ A longbow. She uses arrows that she prays over for certain things, like buffs...'cept a little on the "holy" side, though kind of not really, since the physical properties of the buff would still manifest, though the magical properties may not if the oponent is "holy".

Natural Special Abilities (like sharp senses, shapeshifting):
AKIKO~ She can shapeshift into a black and pink (instead of white) Japanese wagtail, but usually chooses not to. Has a melodic voice, and when she sings, men are usually the ones that run the risk of becoming entranced, though generally anyone is subject to it, and when combined with the music from her shamisen, the effects of her shamisen become far more real, blurring the line between mind and matter and actually being able to cause damage to the listener.
TEIJI~ Naturally, he uses silver fox-fire, generated by his tails and put out only by his will. He can manifest himself in the dreams of others, and become invisible at will. His sight (and perhaps foresight) is remarkable, as well as his senses. He may change to a more human appearance if he wishes, to, but also chooses not to, and upon reaching his 8,000th birthday, he will grow his ninth tail and be able to see what is happening anywhere at any given time.
KAEMON~ Not much, just strong and swift.
MARO~ Strong, Fast, and smells blood. Excellent sight in the dark, and regenerative properties (takes a day after the huge wounds). Can "appear" and "disappear" as mist, and move around as such.
SHODA~ He works with wood. He can make anything made from wood expand, shrink, grow, extend... err, pretty much mold it as he pleases. He also can change into a hyena, as per ghoulish powers state. Has a taste for children, and tends to rob graves/eat the dead. Can also phase through things.
MAEKO~ She has good aim, a sharp eye, and a sharp nose.

Magic:
AKIKO~ None.
TEIJI~ None.
KAEMON~ He's learned to work with the ice form his sword, able to bend it and control it/mold it as needed.
MARO~ None.
SHODA~ None, besides his ink and paper thing.
MAEKO~ She is the healer in the group, healing wounds both magically and herbally when she can't perform the former. She also prays breifly over her arrows, granting them certain magical/physical properties that otherwise they wouldn't have.

Personality:
AKIKO~ Soft spoken and withdrawn.
TEIJI~ Wise and sociable.
KAEMON~ Frank and hot-headed.
MARO~ Sly and smarth-mouthed.
SHODA~ Quiet.
MAEKO~ Bubbly and light-hearted.

Background:
well, to get into their individual backgrounds would take quite some time indeed. But we can safely assume that for the most part, they've each lead a rather typical lifestyle for their race/class, except for Kaemon, who is a female samurai and probably was ostracized in her past for it.
Fast-forward to around the time they met up.
Assuming that they met up rather coincidentally as they passed by Clapsholas sometime in their travels, the small group of two (Akiko and Shoda) grew to encompass even a twisted, perverted ninja.
Until they met up with, err, a toy maker. And for some reason or other, the poor old man grew tired of their shenanigans (mostly Maro), and decided to trick them into splitting up, so he could change them to mere dolls individually, since all together he wouldn't have had a chance to subdue them.
And so, they spent, say, 300 years stuck as dolls... then the shop was abandoned... and the room in the castle forgotten... until Caligula blasted half of the castle apart... and one particularly curious Gabharear by the name of Oisin came across the room, finding the dolls.
She also found bits of the old man's journal, which detailed his experiments and notes as time passed, which wrote out how he turned them into dolls to begin with.
Oisin, being something of a scholar, took to deciphering the text and figuring out his methods, then attempted her own bit and managed to release them from their bonds... well, except for the fact that they didn't return to their former heights. So now we're looking at a vertically challenged group of... friends?
