Poetry by favourite poet BILLY NEESON

Be not sad nor melancholy dear
For your friend and even more is here
Be happy always as I found you when
We first embraced sometime way back when.

Smile always love for your lovely smile,
So innocent, my heart and soul beguile
Content I am no more have I fears
Your warmth chases transitory tears.

Be happy love for in your happiness
You bring me joy and oh such tenderness.
The joy of life I've found since meeting you
My only prayer -- that you found something too.

So my love be you never sad
Know that you make my heart full glad.
Peace in your valley may there always be
As with the peace that you have brought me.

Billy Neeson

A poem by GENYA KUTCHIN , a fine poem and a very dear friend

Go find me a rainbow, a rose still in bloom
A skylark, a fledgling singing in tune
Go seek me a river, blue skies and a boat
A castle ,a hilltop , a bridge and a moat.

Help find me a knight in armour of steel
Someone who'll cherish me with a heart that can feel.
Take all the evil, the murders, the crimes,
And cast in the ocean, burn on the fires
Come find my heart that is searching for love
In a world where the lion can play with the dove.

GENYA KUTCHIN c 1991

For GENYA KUTCHIN (pen name of Rebecca Cohen)
G-d rest her sweet soul. Born In Plock Poland early in the 20th Century
she came to Liverpool,England at the age of two and a half. Her work was caring for people and indeed her every waking moment, mother, grandmother and great grandmother was spent caring. Her love shone through her tender exquisite poetry and she was also an excellent writer of plays. Although more than 40 years older than me , she was my first kindred spirit and someone with whom I laughed and cried. She became a founder member of POETS WHO CARE in the 1970's.We shared the month of May as our birthday month and we shared so much more. She is so very deeply missed .

TRUE LOVE by Genya Kutchin

You are my sunset , you are my dream
You are my sunshine, my summer's morn
You rest beneath my heart , you flutter like a bird,
You and I are one, your voice cannot be heard.

One day we'll surely part, our lives will start anew,
But love will never die .It is forever true.
Take heed my precious seedling as you nestle in my womb
And when you are ready you'll as a flower bloom.

Then as we travel in life's garden
And pass through many storms
The harbour of my love is there
To keep you ever warm.
Always keep a valiant heart,
No matter where you are,
And with a mother's blessing
Aim to reach the stars.

Genya Kutchin

I want to thank you for your im .Were you asking if I was manic depressive ..yes !! I am fascinated by the number of composers e.g. ( Rachmaninov) ,artists(Van Gogh) , poets (Sylvia Plath) and so on, were or are manic depressive. Sensitivity is a gift and also a great problem It aids creativity but gives a lot of pain. Things on the islamd are still ticking over ( have I already replied to you ..my short term memory is less than good .I have an idyllic dream of living in a rural area.I wish you inspirtion without pain.
    until next time
