Rev AlimaeShow poetry

I am dissapearing for a while. Call it a mid-life crisis or what not, but I do not feel like being around anyone any longer and dealing with the so called, I am your friend syndrome.  Take care all and may you continue to write.
Rev. Alimae  4-9-2008

How does one describe one’s self and give an accurate accounting of one’s self?

In light of this particular question I believe I will leave it as unanswered; that is until some one can explain the connotations surrounding this particular catechization.

Now as for the things that I like, I can give you some insight into this particular question.

The interests that I have vary as to my state of mind and emotional mood at any given time. One moment could be coloring with a crayon and the next discussing quantum physics. I guess the easiest way to answer this would be to say that I enjoy the following; alternative medicine, anthropology, archaeology, astronomy, biology, ecology, forensic science, geology, literature, religions, metaphysics, occult, philosophy, physics, spiritualism, theology, along with Ancient history, anime, beadwork, botany, calligraphy, camping, Celtic music, ceramics, creative writing, debates and way to many more to list at this time. If curious, ask.

Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: Home made black berry ice cream made from fresh picked berries, fresh cream from the cow and a mint leaf thrown in for a slight twist.

Favorite Books: DragonRiders of Pern© series by Anne McCaffrey along with a list of about 1200 and growing daily.

Favorite Movies: Action/adventure, classics, comedies, detective, foreign, documentaries, dramas, family, fantasy, fiction, horror, musicals, mysteries, science fiction, thrillers, and westerns.

Favorite Music Groups or Artists: All music to me is beautiful and I enjoy them, save for Rap, Acid Rock/Death Metal. I can not handle Opera unless I am experiencing it from a first hand basis.

Favorite Sports/Teams: Badminton, billiards, boating, chess, climbing, cricket, cross country, curling, cycling, drag racing, equestrian, extreme sports, fencing, fishing, gymnastics, rodeo, rugby, snow sports, and slamball.

Pets that I own or Want: Betta fish, border collie, boxer, chickens, cockatiels, cows, ducks, falcon, frogs, geese, gold fish, hermit crabs, horses, koi, newt, parakeets, peacocks, Persian cat, python, turtle, rats, sharks, and a Siberian husky.

And with no further prolongation I shall construe the following question of my Style. There is much dubiety surrounding my particular method of poetry style as it were. It has been related to me that at times my style is along the lines of being entirely to bravura and at other times it is conundrum which is to difficult to comprehend.

For those of you whom think that I have actually taken the time to learn how to fabricate my works, this is very erroneous, in that I see my self as a belles lettres and simply put, enjoy just writing what comes to mind. I never start out with a particular system that I will use. What ever seems to egress from me is what you get; nothing less and nothing more.

On a side note:
I am sorry to inform the AP community, but it does not appear that I have the capability nor the capacity to write simple poetry. I am not sure what the cause of this may be but the more I try the more I seem to fail.
In light of this information I am going to have to continue writing in my, how shall I say, more difficult to read pieces. So I am apologizing before hand and wish to beg your indulgence in my letting you all know that not all of my pieces will be simple nor easily read, and yes you might have to pull out a thesaurus or a dictionary to read what I have posted.
I have decided that I am me and no mater what anyone says, I will continue being me. If you do not like what I write then that is your prerogative. We are individuals and not everyone is going to like everything we say, think, do, write or even feel.
All I can do is wish each and every member or visitor of All Poetry the best in all that you aspire to accomplish with in your lives; be that poetry or other wise.

Blessings to you all.

I read your author page, and I have read some of your works, i'm here to say that I do not think you should apologize for your writing style, be it simple or difficult. It is just as easy for them to pull out a dictionary if they have questions. I love your works. Merry Part and Blessed Be.
