                            Welcome to my world on All Poetry.

 

 

 

                                  Hello I am Julie aka Reptile Lady




I joined All Poetry back in July 2007, after a gentle twist of the arm

Over the year guess my confidence grew, and so did my taste for sensual writing.

As a child I used to write, but life changes halted my flow of words for many years, until now.

This site has also given my some wonderful friends, and family, of whom I treasure.

 

Raised in East Africa, along with my Parents and Brother, gave me the best grounding, and showed me the beauty of a Country and its Wildlife

Coming back to England in the early 70's. was a real culture shock

and it took me many years to settle.

 

Today, I live with my partner Alan, and, my five children, two of which hope to move on this year and face the world out there.

 

A home, north of London, a collection of Reptiles and three rather funky Silkie Chickens to add along with  Coco our daft Labradoodle.

 

Its a crazy place at times, there has been tears, but laughter and smiles are always a tonic.

 

Keen on photography of all subjects, especially Black and White.

I love music, lyrics are the key to my thoughts and feelings.

Reptile care, and education have been a big part of my life for the past 11 years.

Worked with teenagers for many years, a job I loved.

Passionate about the environment and nature.

 

Deep thinker, I often sit and ponder.

I will fight my cause, in what I believe in, and when my mind is made up I stick to it like glue!

No fool am I, yet a heart I will gladly give, along with support and understanding.
