What can I say - i'm not the happiest person I know and people judge me because of it. When i write, i am myself and a lot of my writing is sub-consciously autobiographical. I live in South Africa, but i know someday i'm gonna move to Seattle. I'm an enormous enormous enormous NIRVANA fan, i love Mudhoney, Nightwish, In Flames, Alice in Chains, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Mars Volta, Creedence Clearwater Revival [hehehe], Smashing Pumpkins, Placebo, Björk, Portishead, Radiohead, The Distillers, Tool, A Perfect Circle, God Speed You Black Emperor [wow], The YeahYeahYeahs, BlutEngel, Sisters of Mercy ... and any heavy metal or hard rock, my lists are too long to remember ... and yeah, i have a broad music taste, but my fav is definetely loud and louder.
my favourite movies are : Requiem for a Dream, 51st state, Dancer in the Dark, Virgin Suicides, KillBill, PulpFiction [and any other Tarantino movie] any of the Texas Chainsaw Massacres,The Royal Tenenbaums, Downfall, NAPOLEON DYNAMITE, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Secret Window, In America, Memento, all the Star Wars [especially the original ones] and all the 007 movies starring Sean Connery.[pardon if i misspelled his surname, slipped my mind] all TIM BURTON's movies and Pirates of the Caribbean [and all of Johnny Depp's earlier movies, like From Hell etc]
i dislike ignorant people [most people are ignorant, so that is a bad thing, seeing as i thus, dont like a lot of people...], when someone tells me Ignorance is Bliss i freak out, because i believe EXACTLY the opposite.
though it may not yet sound like it, i am a very openminded person, if you can give valid reasons for your opinions.
i would never call myself a punk, or a fan of punk music, though i really respect it and everything it stands for.
i like scary books, and a favourite author is [surprise surprise] Stephen King.
i love archaic writing though i would never try it myself and i adore Shakespeare and William Blake.
I respect everything the Beatniks stood for, but i am not going to pretend that i know all about them, even though i love Ginsberg's and Burroughs' work. i am also a Charles Bukowski fan.
