ReenieShow poetry

I am an English Education major that wants to teach in China. I hope that I can change the world but doubt that I will. I attend Trevecca Nazarene University though I am not Nazarene. I love my hometown of Chicago and hope to live there again someday...but I really hope to live in foreign country...

I hate being an English Education major. I have begun to care. James Joyce is a favorite. I fell in love with him when I first read Dubliners. As of late I have been inspired by the imagery of William Carlos Williams. Heres to no puctuation. I have created a great unit for poetry recently in an education class, I have been told that I have a lot of passion...

I do not want to be a teacher, or at least not for long and I hate being an English major. I have a career list that is a page long...I hope to complete it...

I don't consider myself a poet and I do not like the poetry that I have written. I once had a love for poetry but I have fallen for using my hands to create art. Paintings and especially chalk pastel is my passion...

I do not write well so I will continue to study it and to read it. I do have a need and desire to learn more about the art of poetry, and to teach what I know. And as for writting that I have in my past, I will look back at those peoms I have put on this site and that I have in my portfolio. I will not be ashamed of my writtings even if I know how bad they are. Though I love critical response as long as it is telling me how I can improve I will take whatever I can get, even the most harsh. I am a firm believer that mean comments can help more than nice ones. That is the one dream I have to write a poem I can be proud of so all critical analysis is welcome! Don't be afraid of being mean, I'm not a wimp...try your best...
