Welcome good friends to my fantasyland
With poems and verses all penned by my hand
So open your heart and your mind can expand
Sit back and relax because you’re in command
Beautiful verse from a beautiful land
Passion that’s penned from South African Sand
So come with me on this safari I’ve planned
Sit back and enjoy let your fire be fanned
Welkom liewe vriende in my sprokiesland
Van gedigte en verse gepen deur my hand
Open jul harte laat jul gedagtes gaan
Sit terug en ontspan want dit is jul baan
Pragtige verse van 'n pragtige land
Passie gepen deur Suid-Afrika se sand
Kom saam met my op safari beplan
Sit terug en geniet en laat harte ontvlam
Below you'll find my poetry
And links to where my daughter writes
In such short time she'll outshine me
Her name in lights
Please browse around and let me know
Just plunge right in up to your necks
I hope you'll like what is on show
And call me Becks

My Motto's
Just as art without the artist, so is art without the spectator.
Without tears, you cannot love.
If you feel hate, you still feel something...
Different friends fulfill different needs, some are in your life for a reason and others are only there for a season. All of them are needed to fill your void inside.
If you don't respect, you don't love.
Raise your patience level before raising your voice. Raise your standards before raising your hand to hurt.
In order to make your dreams come true, you first need to wake up!
If you haven't failed, you haven’t pushed yourself to the limits yet. Failing is a temporary impediment. Without practice it will become a permanent one!
From my friend Jeff:
Please wash away what makes you sad
And find a way from darkened place
I'll try to write to make you glad
And place a smile upon your face
. Your smile can paint the bluest sky
. And lead the fairies in a chase
. So wear a twinkle in each eye
. And place a smile upon your face
You have such friends to give you love
You fill their lives with hope and grace
So soar into the skies above
And place a smile upon your face
. Please wash away what makes you sad
. And place a smile upon your face

And again from Jeff
When there's sadness in a poet and she feels the need to write
There is nothing needs forgiving for the words make perfect sight
Just remember you have friends here who can help you reach the light
Though September is a Month that tears your heart
Just rejoice in what he gave you though for just the shortest while
You've a daughter who is perfect and who lives within your smile
And you bear yourself with honour in a life that lost his style
In September that's the month that tore your heart
Never think you can be parted if you hold him safe inside
You can stay in love forever in the dreams where you can hide
For there's beauty in your loving and your hope can't be denied
Though September is a month that tears your heart
With poems and verses all penned by my hand
