Tag! My name is...well, you can call me "Rawdha". That'll do, thanks. Well, let's see, where shall I begin? Um, well, I've been writing poetry for ages, stopped, and started again, although this time it's for pleasure and not for therapy. I'm fifteen, I live in the States, but I really don't like it here. I think if I could choose a country I'd live in either the UK or Germany. I'm home schooled, which I like, and yes, I'm socialized. My favourite subject is perhaps English, but I also like foreign language (which includes German, American Sign Language, and Dutch) and math (some times). My favourite thing to do is read or write, or play video games, or scrabble. I'm a member of the ISC (my name is Rawdha on there too) and of allexperts.com in Islam and Muslim teens. Which leads me, of course, to my next statement. I am a Muslim (convert). I have been a Believer for about two years, but I made it official in August of 2007. I do not "outwardly practice" Islam because my parents don't know I'm one. They're non-denominational Christians. If I could outwardly practice it, I would. I love wearing my khimars, which I wear only for prayer, or when my parents are out of the house for several hours. I like many different genres of music, although my favourite bands are as follows (in no order): Rammstein, Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation, Erasure, A-Ha, Nightwish, Debussy, Mae, Outlandish, and several others. I mainly listen to heavy metal or dance metal, but I like 80's hits/music, celtic/new age, and classical. My favourite movie is "The Breakfast Club". My favourite book, besides the Qu'ran is either The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien or Lord of the Flies by William Golding. I also like Harry Potter books (a LOT), and various Vampire books. I chose "Rawdha" as a nickname because in Arabic it means "Gardens" and that's how Heaven is described in the Qu'ran.
