RashaeShow poetry

I write when a word a phrase fills
my mind and will not leave...
When my anger is full to bursting...
With emotions overflowing...
When I watch the night sky,
a second longer than before,
fixated on some subject or theme I can't ignore.
When another poets writing pulls at my heart strings, When God whispers in my ear "It is time for you to sing."

_I believe in a thing called love... not romance... love. Love for your fellow man/woman. It's respect, it common courtiesy, it's not treating people like you treat your garbage...and yes, we all have that person who just erks us the wrong way...and there are truly heartless souls who we cannot love...but think about it... it takes less to smile than to frown and I honestly feel better when I smile...

_I've never felt as helpless as the day I saw how human I really was, but to fil my cup with sorrow?

We're so in love with fighting that we're blocking out the lighting of the sun.
There's no one left to lead us. We're a nation of retreaters, every one...I wont be afriad...

You've got to smile at life again.
Smile at you. There's a time to let it go, and then you
Smile at life again. There's a time to let it go.

There's a rip
Like a hole
In the heart, in the soul
Of the man, who
wants nothing to do with love...
THE ELMS(Truth, Soul, Rock n' Roll)
