Random Thoughts• Show poetry

Hey there I am a very abstract sort of poet and the best way to describe most of what I write would be to say that they are Random Thoughts drifting free from a secret place in my mind.
I love to read and write short poetry that is creative, deep and intense to read, usually no more than 20 lines, in fact 20 words even is better.
I try to use metaphor a lot but I think it gets lost on most readers.
I love to have my thoughts provoked usually through a word or picture prompt, I really like free form as it does not restrain or constrict your expression.
I feel there is a fire burning in me and is still trying to get out.


MY FIRST POEM

I Jumped Over The Fence

When I went walking I found a butterfly,
and I chased it.
It flew high over the fence,
So I jumped over the fence,
and looked for it.
I couldn't see him anywhere.

I am here because I need to write poetry, I find it my way of letting everything out of my head without being too destructive.



LIFE CAN BE VERY HARSH AND UNPREDICTABLE....SO I WRITE ABOUT IT.
IT CAN ALSO BE AMAZING - SO I WRITE ABOUT THAT SOMETIMES TOO

I AM A LEO BORN IN THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON SO I AM A DOUBLE FIRE SIGN, I GUESS THAT IS THE DARK BURNING IN ME
