I'm pretty much on permanent hiatus. I'm just keeping the account for archival storage, basically. That's pretty much been true for awhile, but I thought I'd better just say it. Even though probably no one will see this.

~I am the boy kicked out of his house because I confided in my mother that I am gay

~I am the student who is shunned and teased by his classmates because he acts 'gay'. I'm not sure if that is who I am.
~I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didn't have to always deal with society hating me.
~I am the person who has to hide what the world needs most, love.
~I am GLBTQ. I am making a difference. Hate will NOT win.

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behaviour. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears's 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Let's have a brief description of >me< I'm bisexual, but probably mostly lesbian...Let's just say I'm not straight. I suppose I don't have many friends, but I love them all dearly. I post most of the poems I write...I like poetry and writing and reading (duh), bright colors, spirals, lilies, rain, dancing, hugs, (oh dear I sound like a Care Bear) thinking, spots of emoness, music of most sorts, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the shows, fan fiction, manga....Ah, less Care-Bear-ish. I was quite depressed for a while...I suppose about four years...But I feel a spot better now. Oh, and I like '...'s, in case you couldn't tell. Also, I'm a RABID Willow/Tara shipper. Do not fuck with me. Lol. I'd say that sums me up. Although the only way you can really know me is if you hurry up and read my poetry and comment on it!! And IM me. Talk to me! I love people, especially the fun people of the AP community. Toodles!
