~Welcome to Ms. Mairéad’s Magickal Forest~
WARNING: Only imaginary creatures beyond this point.
And to the right is a picture of me (this way) —
I drink milk out of a wine glass 'cause quite frankly it's hilarious. (This is even more hilarious after finding out I'm lactose intolerant.)

Dia Dhuit!
You might just witness insanity on this page, or yet again some sort of random phenomenon, but I'm only a quarter looney! I'm also two parts spacey and one part nuts. Some of you might not make it out of my page alive.
Might I suggest going this way!

My name is Mairéad..if you're wondering...I'll pronounce it for you.
I am fun-loving, eccentric, and silly. I laugh after every sentence, just because. Sarcasm is one of my many comic mediums, but I am never mean. I am random and not to afraid to admit I am kooky and ridiculous. I am a free thinker...even when I fear I am a fool.
I study Horticulture and Economics at Purdue University...rock on! I guess the best way to describe me would be...a tree hugger and the embodiment of the inner child.

I have attacks of random thoughts and often laugh to myself when I'm walking down the street.
My goal is to make you ask questions...
I would like to personally thank anyone who takes the time to listen to any song I have written. I suggest right clicking and selecting 'open in new window' so the link doesn't take you out of the site...that's just annoying, haha.
...or perplex you.

Long September (Piano, 2008)
http://www.mediafire.com/?jngzm5jugtm
I did this song last year on Piano. It's a sort of sad but longing melodic tune.
Fantasy on "Pollyanna" (Symphony Orchestra, 2009) (COMPOSER'S CHOICE)
http://www.mediafire.com/?w5gj2xnymnj
In the year of 1989 Keiichi Suzuki wrote the most beautiful melody I have ever heard for the Nintendo game series Mother. In this Fantasy I take that melody and build around it with my original ideas.
Thinking of August (Piano, 2009)
(ORIGINAL ON PIANO)
http://www.mediafire.com/?zmznejzw4zz
REDONE FOR STRINGS)
http://www.mediafire.com/?azb4omjdoz3
Thinking of August...thinking of someone...has a melody sort of so happy that it's kind of sad. Writing from my heart instead of my head, it actually turned out to be one of my most difficult pieces. (From a theory stand point)
The Butterfly (Chamber Ensamble, 2009)
http://www.mediafire.com/?jiy4mnkwcnt
This is my take on a well-known Irish slip jig. I opened it in a broad and very contemporary air; almost like a film score. I featured the flute with a "psuedo-traditional" approach to the song with guitar, harp, and drums, as well as an orchestral one by making a waltz in the middle before it returns to a traditional 9/8 meter and ends with a bang.
Earthbound Things (No vocals)(2009)
http://www.mediafire.com/?hmjhj23njnm
If you notice that is says no vocals, that means that soon there will a version with the vocals! It will be sung by me. Lyrics, music, all written by me. So I'm excited about this one! Are you?
16 Melodies (2009, Keyboard)
http://www.mediafire.com/?wwjwxqwyqyn
An orchestral song by Shogo Sakai for a video game called Mother 3. I did an arrangement on keyboard...it doesn't have nearly as much fire as the ochestral original but hey, it's flippin' keyboard. And besides, it's still a very pleasant sound.
"We Miss You" (2009)
http://www.mediafire.com/?m4nryjvj2qj
I did not write this song but I did sing it! I modifyed the lyrics mainly because they use to be in Japanese..and whoops! I sang in English! I'm a little critical of my voice...I think the higher range needs some work. >_<
"Star Gazing the October Moon" (2009, piano)
http://www.mediafire.com/?4um1zyytmmy

I could tell you something trivial, like that I have all my teeth.
This is me branching out
...but I think mystifying you is more punctual
Usually, I thought having an AP family is a...how do I put this...false? But if it's just really my friends how can it hurt? It's not like I can get absorbed in virtual reality. It's just cutesy.
My AP Lil' Sister-Abidoodlez
http://allpoetry.com/Abidoodlez
My friends are many and all well-loved...the meanies are welcome but rarely enter...for obvious reason. Music is medicine, and so is laughter, so when listening to a funny song I find it hard to be plagued.
Earth is our Mother...so treat her kindly...just think of your mother's face when she is angry and that is Mother Nature's storm.
I follow a philosophy of nature. The movements of night and day, moon and sun are more then my beacon. They are my God and Goddess. I live along side the spirits of the forest, the creatures that abide by the trees and flowers. They are my friends and my account of time. I have listened to stories of Celts and their druids and forever have I given them my ear
Religion is like language. All over the world, certain locals put variations on a word that started a long time ago sometimes to a point where someone else in world can't understand. They all communicate something and a difference in one can cause divison but when translated, it meant something the same all along.
(Quote, Myself on February 2, 2009)
Yes, I'm Irish (because I'm sure you knew that)

I might at times like to talk and rant on many ridiculous subjects but never without a healthy dose of intelligence to speak of in my life.
By the way, if you read my stuff and comment there is a huge chance that I will totally read your stuff and leave awesome comments...
Ever burnt Mac & Cheese? Do it. You'll have something to tell your friends.
I am a proud redhead!
Here are some redhead facts!
Red hair is a genetic mutation. (I’m not mutated! I’m blessed!)
Red hair is seen on the heads of only four percent of people.
The highest percentage of natural redheads in the world is in Scotland (13%), followed closely by Ireland with 10%. In the US, about 2% of the population are natural redheads. (Éirinn go Brách!)
The colour Green tempers red. Look at a color chart. This is why redheads are taught as children to wear lots of green. (I wear green all the time)
Red headedness is, genetically speaking, a recessive trait. It may appear after several generations of darker hair. (Both my parents and all my siblings have very dark hair)
Adolph Hitler reportedly banned the marriages of two redheads as he feared their children would be “deviant offspring”.(Mwahaha!)
Bees are thought to sting redheads more than others. (I’ve been stung by about ten bees in my life so far)
A 2002 study found that redheads are harder to sedate than any other people requiring twenty percent more anesthesia. Inadequate doses cause people to wake up during surgery and have increased recall of procedures. (Yikes, so true, had a bad experience with this.)
Redheads bruise more easily. (I have about six good sized bruises right now…from what…I do not know)

Not to spoil the fun kiddies, but just so we're on the same page...
(there's Waldo, he was on my page all along)

I'm that ever elusive gaming chick...and yes...I will PWN you! Mwahaha, l33t speak!
This is where the page gets difficult, I personally blow right though it.

I also LOVE to doodle. I might consider myself a serious artist but I have to have fun too!

This doodle was done in my last year of highschool during math class. It's set in a poorly drawn Tokyo where Paczilla (Body of Godzilla and head of Pacman) is battling a samurai in a pirate hat as the Planter's peanut is running away from a deranged vaccuum cleaner. All the while, the Nintendo character Kirby is falling off his warp star. ^_^

I’m starting to realize how relationships work.
