"We still do not know where the urge for truth comes from; for as yet we have heard only of the obligation imposed by society that it should exist: to be truthful means using the customary metaphors - in moral terms, the obligation to lie according to fixed convention, to lie herd-like in a style obligatory for all..."

::: Personal decree :::
I believe in the usage of words as a source of the release of all things trapped in the Realm of The Unspoken ---tiny tools, or weapons if you will; no, magical little relics of communication which enable beings of voice to tap into the mysterious powers within and around themselves. I vow never to adhere to the containment of individuality through the evils of an inhibited freedom of speech or to rest myself defined by any soul-shackling labels society scrounges up to lay upon me. My words have the power to save me from becoming anything other than the person I wish myself to be. I believe in words. I believe in me.

Poems I'm focused on
-
The grays and browns of cobblestone
Are cold and rough and raw as bone -
I am
the likeness of a God -
I've never been one who's been smitten
My vice is the couch that I sit in -
our sleeping bodies
floated through the cavern maze -
The neighborhood has secrets
organized like the yards -
when the apple's just a seedling
sleeping seamlessly 'til noon -
What wicked rain that wreaks its way
outside the sights we've seen -

-
sincerely, your sapphire soul
-
-
press your body against the window to my heart
press your cheek against the glass -
Take me where the rivers flow
where giants, dwarfs and dragons go... -
A muddled inky masterpiece of words
Reflects the blueish moonbeams in my eye -
And when that western sunset sighs
I lay me down and close my eyes -
Is this frame my frame forever?
Can a whisper break through glass? -
Where pillows never leave your head
And all your tears are mine instead -
Once upon a time
There was magic -
Before
They're gone...
My Poetry
-
heaven is not far away
but it is close, invisibly -
a figure eight
crowns the noble beast
