PsychoticallyInsaneShow poetry

Hello Everyone. My Finace Falecurst got me interested into this site, so I am here. Actually, I am not much of a poet, and I havn't written any poems since i was 16. My art is with drawing and oil painting. Anyways, I thought maybe i should get back into writing, give the ol' one two and get some more creative things going in my life. I must say though, I am not a brilliant poet for it is not my forte' but I'm just doing this for fun. An experiance. All I have right now is one poem I have scrounged up outta the heaps of my closet. Not the poem I would of liked to post, but that is now lost to an unknown abyss. so i hope you enjoy. Let's get to know more about me you say? well, that is a mystery that I do not even know and have no solved yet. the only one who has done this is my Fiance'. So thats that. You should visit my fiances page, He has a brilliant and intelectual very genious mind. His poems and thoughts are magnificent and Unique. There is no one else in the world like him. I am a lucky lady to have him. Please, go check him out, it's worth your time.

Music

The Smiths : " Sing me to sleep, sing me to sleep, I'm tired and I, I want to go to bed. Sing me to sleep, sing me to sleep And then leave me alone. Don't try to wake me in the morning, cuz i will be gone. Don't feel bad for me. I want you to know. Deep within the Cell of my heart I will feel so glad to go. Sing me to sleep, sing me to sleep, I don't want to wake up on my own anymore. Sing to me, Sing to me, I don't want to wake up on my own anymore. Don't feel bad for me. I want you to know. Deep in the cell of my heart i really want to go. There is another world. There is a better world, oh there must be, oh, there must be. Oh, there must be. Oh, there must be. Oh."

The Smiths : " The boy with the thorn in his side, behind the hatred there lies a murderous desire. How can they look into my eyes and still they don't believe me. How can they hear me say those words, and still they don't believe me."

Barry Mcguire : " The eastern world, it is explodin, violence flarin' Bullets loadin'. Your old enough to kill, but not for votin, You don't believe in war, but whats that gun your totin', and even the Jordan river has a bodies floatin'. But you tell me over and over and over again my friend, how you don't believe, were on the eve of destruction! Don't you understand what i'm trying to say, And can't you feel the fears i'm feeling today. If the button is pushed there'll be no running away, there'll be no one to save with the world in a grave. Take a look around ya boy, it's bound ta scare ya boy. and you tell me over and over and over again my friend, how you don't believe were on the eve of destruction. Yeh My bloods so mad, feels like coagulatin' i'm sitting here just contimplatin, I can't twist the truth, it knows no regulation. Hand full of senetors don't pass legislation and marches alone can't bring integrationg, when human respect is desentegratin', this whole crazy is just too fusteratin'. And you tell me, over and over and over again my friend, how you don't believe were on the eve of destruction. Think of all the hate there is in red china, then take a look around to selma alabama, You may leave here, for 4 days in space, but when you return, its same old place. The pounding of the drums The pride and disgrace. You can barry your dead but don't leave a trace. Hate'your next door neighbor, but don't forget to say grace."

Edwin Starr : "War, what is it good for? Absolutley nothing. Listen to me."

Donovan : " He's 5'2" and he's 6'4". He fights with missiles and with spears, He's all of 31 and he's only 17. Been a soldier for a thousand years. He's a catholic, a hindu, an athiest a Jain. A Buddhist and a bapsist and a Jew And he knows he shouldn't kill, and he knows he always will, Killing me my friend, and killing me for you. And he's fighting for canada he's fighting for france, he's fighting for the U.S.A. And he's fighting for the russians and he's fighting for Japan, and he thinks we'll put an end to war this way. And he's fighting for democracy and he's fighting for the Reds, He says it's for the peace of all. He's the one who must decide who's to live and who's to die And he never sees the writing on the wall. But without him how would Hitler Have condemned him at Labaul. Without him Ceasor would have stood alone. He's the one who gives his body as a weapon of the war, and without him all this killing can't go on. He's the universal soldier and he really is to blame. His orders come from far away no more, they come here and there and you and me, and brothers cant ya see This is not the way we put an end to war. "

The byrds : " To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time to build up,a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time to love, a time to hate
A time for peace, I swear its not too late"

Buffalo Springfield : "there's something happinin here
what it is aint exactly clear
theres a man with a gun over there
tellin me i got to beware

i think it's time we stop, children
what's that sound
everybody look what's goin down

there's battle lines being drawn
nobody's right if everybody's wrong
young people speakin there minds
getting so much resistance far behind

it's time we stop,
hey what's that sound
everybody look what's goin down

what a field day for the heat
a thousand people in the street
singin songs that they carry inside
mostly say hurray for our side

it's time we stop,
hey what's that sound
everybody look what's goin down

there are lawyer strikes deep
into your life it will creep
it starts when your always afraid
step out of line the man come and take you away

you better stop
hey what's that sound
everybody look what's going down x4 "

Simon and Garfunkel : " Are you going to Scarborough Fair? Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme.
Remember me to one who lives there, she once was a true love of mine.

Tell her to make me a cambric shirt (On the side of a hill in the deep forest green).
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme (Tracing a sparrow on snow-crested ground).
Without no seams nor needlework (Blankets and bedclothes the child of the mountain).
Then she'll be a true love of mine (Sleeps unaware of the clarion call).

Tell her to find me an acre of land (On the side of a hill, a sprinkling of leaves).
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme (Washes the grave with silvery tears).
Between the salt water and the sea strands (A soldier cleans and polishes a gun).
Then she'll be a true love of mine.

Tell her to reap it in a sickle of leather (War bellows, blazing in scarlet battalions).
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme (Generals order their soldiers to kill).
And gather it all in a bunch of heather (And to fight for a cause they've long ago forgotten).
Then she'll be a true love of mine.

Are you going to Scarborough Fair? Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme.
Remember me to one who lives there, she once was a true love of mine."

Simon and Garfunkel : " I am just a poor boy and my storys seldom told
Ive squandered my resistance for a pocketful of mumbles, such are promises
All lies and jest, still the man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest, hmmmm

When I left my home and my family, I was no more than a boy
In the company of strangers
In the quiet of the railway station, runnin scared
Laying low, seeking out the poorer quarters, where the ragged people go
Looking for the places only they would know

Li la li...

Asking only workmans wages, I come lookin for a job, but I get no offers
Just a comeon from the whores on 7th avenue
I do declare, there were times when I was so lonesome
I took some comfort there

Now the years are rolling by me, they are rockin even me
I am older than I once was, and younger than Ill be, thats not unusual
No it isnt strange, after changes upon changes, we are more or less the same
After changes we are more or less the same

Li la li...

And Im laying out my winter clothes, wishing I was gone, goin home
Where the new york city winters arent bleedin me, leadin me to go home

In the clearing stands a boxer, and a fighter by his trade
And he carries the reminders of every glove that laid him down or cut him
til he cried out in his anger and his shame
I am leaving, I am leaving, but the fighter still remains
Yes he still remains

Li la li..."

Simon and Garfunkel : " Hello darkness, my old friend,
Ive come to talk with you again,
Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence.

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone,
neath the halo of a street lamp,
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of
A neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence.

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more.
People talking without speaking,
People hearing without listening,
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one deared
Disturb the sound of silence.

Fools said i,you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows.
Hear my words that I might teach you,
Take my arms that I might reach you.
But my words like silent raindrops fell,
And echoed
In the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon God they made.
And the sign flashed out its warning,
In the words that it was forming.
And the signs said, the words of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls.
And whisperd in the sounds of silence."

Gary Jules : " All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very
Mad World
Mad world
Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
And I feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very
Mad World
Mad World
Enlarging your world
Mad World"

Emily Haines : " The lack of light, hollow sea
Poison beaches, limousines
Toothless dentists, cops that kill

My baby's got the lonesome lows, don't quite go away overnight
Doctor Blind, just prescribe the blue ones
If the dizzying highs don't subside overnight
Doctor Blind, just prescribe the red ones

Da da-da, da-da da-dum, da da-da
Ah ah-ah, ah-ah da-dum, ah-da-da da

Hard to hold, cold to touch
Fall to pieces, treat the rush
In hindsight, primetime talk
All your pain will end here
Let the doctor soothe your brain, dear

My baby's got the lonesome lows, don't quite go away overnight
Doctor Blind, just prescribe the blue ones
If the dizzying highs don't subside overnight
Docter Blind, just prescribe the red ones

Da, da-da-da, da da da da
Da-da-da-da-da-da da da
Da-ah-ah-ah

Mmm-mmm-mmm mmm-mmm-mmm, ah ah
Da-da-da-da-da-da da da
Da-da-da-da
Mmm-mmm-mmm mmm-mmm-mmm, ah ah "

Arlene Bishop : " Man the wind really blows my mind
I must be made of wind chimes on the inside
Tiny bones, tied up in a line
Holes for wind and some sunshine

Or maybe I am made of tin
That explains my metal grin
With spaces where the birds come
And little fishes stretch their fins

Flesh and blood
98 points water
Flesh and blood
98 points water

I know that I'm not made of wood
Else I'd crack like I know I should
Else I'd burn like I know I could
'cuz even though the world is good
There are those who've crumbled where they've stood

Flesh and blood
98 points water
Flesh and blood
98 points water

Days like these It's only gravity
Days like these It's only gravity

I fear that I am made of stone
To hear some others cry and groan
To see the fallow I have sown
Remember things I have been shown

Flesh and blood
98 points water
Flesh and blood
98 points water

Days like these It's only gravity
Days like these It's only gravity

Let me go
let me go
Let me go"

Arlene Bishop : " If you you cut a mans heart out, it will bleed. If you cut a mans heart out, it will bleed. If you cut a mans heart out, it will bleed, listen to this, this is the risk. If you cut him in the alley or in the street. If you cut him to the quick or cut his speach, if you cut him up, on the dance floor. Listen to this, this is the risk. If you cut a mans heart out, it will bleed, If you cut a mans heart out, it will bleed. Listen to this, this is the risk, If you cut him out you must cut him in. If you cut his losses you must cut his wins. If you cut him up, you must have him for lunch, Listen to this, this is the risk. If you cut a mans heart out, it will bleed, if you cut a mans heart out, it will bleed. If you cut a mans heart out then proceed, Just stick it in your Jacket after you've grabbed it. Suck it up, oh, after you stabbed it. and ease up, don't freeze up. Don't emotionally Ceaze up. Just get back into the swing of things, oh it aint nothing but a, a bee sting. "

Rasputina : " I never want to be seen as cheap
I saw the tears in his eyes and I thought, "That's sweet."
I tried on all of my little jokes,
I muscle in, throw it in, just to see if it floats
Not many people have the balls of I
to take the bull by the horns and make it mine, all mine

He was it, he was really hot shit
He was tripping, he was ripped and he was high on life

He was it, he was really hot,
He was tripping, he was drifting, he was high
He was really nice

He smelled like propane and butterscotch
He kept his eyes on me 'cuz he liked to watch me
Tear up bedsheets to bandage him
He had been in a fight, but he did not win
I don't think we brought the money up,
It was a gas, oh we just laughed, this boy could not shut up

He was it, he was really hot shit
He was tripping, he was ripped and he was high on life

He was it, he was really hot shit
He was tripping, he was ripped and he was high on life (repeat)

He was it, he was really hot shit
He was tripping, he was ripped and he was high on life ( x4 )
He was tripping, he was drifting, he was high
He was really nice

He was it, he was really hot shit
He was tripping, he was ripped and he was high on life (repeat)"

Rasputina : "Do you believe in the signs of the zodiac?
Haven't you found that the systems for
Planning always fail?

Can you avoid what gave daddy his heart attack?
Have you tried everything, anything
All to no avail?

I know what you need.
This will really work.

In anciet times, if you were sick
They make you bleed.
Oh, honey I know it hurts.

Look all around you and notice you're not alone.
We want to give the courage to
Go a different way.
Think of the love and attention we all have shown.
What did we do when we heard, well, we
All came right away.

I know what you need.
This will really work.
In ancient times, if you were sick
They make you bleed.
Oh, honey I know it hurts.

Do you believe in the signs of the zodiac? I know what you need.
This will really work.
In ancient times, if you were sick
They make you bleed.
Oh, honey I know it hurts.

Do you believe in the signs of the zodiac? "

Rasputina : " In a prehistoric dried up lake,
a million years after the last earthquake,
there lived a little girl who loved to bake.
The only thing she made was cake,
and all she used was salt.
That's all she had, it's not her fault.
Saline the Salt Lake Queen

She used a rudimental substance for
an ingredient that she could pour
into a chalice she carved out of stone.
her only friend, it was a big black crow
who flew with love,
he would fly high above,
look back at her below.

Oh Saline, only seventeen
swollen up with pride.
Oh Saline, under desert's skies
She's a bromide.
She makes green fire
In a tunnel of thorns
and she's got yellow eyes.

She'd cook alone amid a brutal ruin.
It's hard to tell exactly what she's doin'.
An incantation and a crow flew in
Oooooh Oooooh
And then she took a taste
The black crow looked into her face
Saline the Salt Lake Queen

Oooooh, oooooh
Oh Saline, the desert queen

Oh Saline, only seventeen
swollen up with pride.
Oh Saline, under desert's skies
She's a bromide.
She makes green fire
in a tunnel of thorns
and she's got yellow eyes. "

Queen Adreena : " In vein, I seek farther, the needle closer, the little end

The world is watching as i take my last breath
The world is watching as I get undressed
Coz I'm pretty like drugs

The world is watching as my wings unfurl
The world is watching the death of a girl
Coz I'm pretty like drugs

I load the gun and I'm out of the world, and I take it harder, coz oh... pretty oh... pretty like drugs
I load the gun

The world is watching with a pregnant pause
The world is watching as I fuck to applause
The world is watching as I plant the last seed
The world is watching me watching tv
Coz I'm pretty like drugs

I load the gun
I wax and wane
Subject all of my pain
Onto you baby
Coz I'm pretty like drugs"

Queen Adreena : " I make you a prayer a heavenly surrender
To the one somewhere out there
The one who can mend her
I pray for the one who can open my door
Let me go through it
Oh yes give me more
A prayer for the lover, the willing intender
To break down the girl a heavenly surrender

I crave your violence, act it upon me
Set me free by your weighted autonomy
I am so human so small so debased
Jealously and darkness rule over this place
A prayer for the lover the willing intender
To break down the girl a heavenly surrender

I'm a lover of freedom but I cling to the dust
I'm blown by the wind I'm a slave I am lust
Please rub my face in the shit that I sleep in
Tie me and bind me up for your keeping
I make you a prayer a heavenly surrender
To the one somewhere out there
The one who can mend her "

Neil Young : " Back in the old folky days
The air was magic when we played.
The riverboat was rockin'
in the rain
Midnight was the time
for the raid.

Oh, Isabela, proud Isabela,
They tore you down and
plowed you under.
You're only real
with your make-up on
How could I see you
and stay too long?

All along the Navajo Trail,
Burn-outs stub their toes
on garbage pails.
Waitresses are cryin'
in the rain
Will their boyfriends
pass this way again?

Oh, Mother Goose,
she's on the skids
Shoe ain't happy,
neither are the kids.
She needs someone
that she can scream at
And I'm such a heel
for makin' her feel so bad.

I guess I'll call it
sickness gone
It's hard to say
the meaning of this song.
An ambulance can only
go so fast
It's easy to get buried
in the past
When you try to make
a good thing last.

I saw today
in the entertainment section
There's room at the top
for private detection.
To Mom and Dad
this just doesn't matter,
But it's either that
or pay off the kidnapper.

So all you critics sit alone
You're no better than me
for what you've shown.
With your stomach pump and
your hook and ladder dreams
We could get together
for some scenes.

I never knew a man
could tell so many lies
He had a different story
for every set of eyes.
How can he remember
who he's talkin' to?
'Cause I know it ain't me,
and I hope it isn't you.

Well, I'm up in T.O.
keepin' jive alive,
And out on the corner
it's half past five.
But the subways are empty
And so are the cafes.

Except for the Farmer's Market
And I still can hear him say:
You're all just pissin'
in the wind
You don't know it but you are.

And there ain't nothin'
like a friend
Who can tell you
you're just pissin'
in the wind.

I never knew a man
could tell so many lies
He had a different story
for every set of eyes
How can he remember
who he's talking to?
Cause I know it ain't me,
and hope it isn't you. "

Neil Young : "
I caught you knockin'
at my cellar door
I love you, baby,
can I have some more
Ooh, ooh, the damage done.

I hit the city and
I lost my band
I watched the needle
take another man
Gone, gone, the damage done.

I sing the song
because I love the man
I know that some
of you don't understand
Milk-blood
to keep from running out.

I've seen the needle
and the damage done
A little part of it in everyone
But every junkie's
like a settin' sun."

Neil Young : " You know it takes
a long, long time
You know it takes
a long, long time
You love her so
and still you know
That you will never
want to let her go
Unless you leave her first
Then you come out on top
But, still
there's just one thing
You haven't got.

Peace of mind
Like when you treated her kind
It's hard to face
that open space.

You know it takes
a long, long time
You know it takes
a long, long time
When first you gave
and shared your soul
Showed her all those things
that take their toll
She knows your weak spot
But, she still gets you hot
So you do it again
Reveal what lies within.

And go for peace of mind
Like when you treated her kind
It's hard to face
that open space.

You're lookin' for
peace of mind
Anywhere you can find
Still searchin' for
peace of mind.

You know it takes
a long, long time
You know it takes
a long, long time."

Neil Young : " I want to live,
I want to give
Ive been a miner for a heart of gold.
Its these expressions I never give
That keep me searching for a heart of gold
And Im getting old.
Keeps me searching for a heart of gold
And Im getting old.

Ive been to hollywood
Ive been to redwood
I crossed the ocean for a heart of gold
Ive been in my mind, its such a fine line
That keeps me searching for a heart of gold
And Im getting old.
Keeps me searching for a heart of gold
And Im getting old.

Keep me searching for a heart of gold
You keep me searching for a heart of gold
And Im getting old.
Ive been a miner for a heart of gold."

Neil Young : " Old man look at my life,
Im a lot like you were.
Old man look at my life,
Im a lot like you were.

Old man look at my life,
Twenty four and theres so much more
Live alone in a paradise
That makes me think of two.

Love lost, such a cost,
Give me things that dont get lost.
Like a coin that wont get tossed
Rolling home to you.

Old man take a look at my life Im a lot like you
I need someone to love me the whole day through
Ah, one look in my eyes and you can tell thats true.

Lullabies, look in your eyes,
Run around the same old town.
Doesnt mean that much to me
To mean that much to you.

Ive been first and last
Look at how the time goes past.
But Im all alone at last.
Rolling home to you.

Old man take a look at my life Im a lot like you
I need someone to love me the whole day through
Ah, one look in my eyes and you can tell thats true.

Old man look at my life,
Im a lot like you were.
Old man look at my life,
Im a lot like you were."

Melissa Etheridge : " Have I been sleeping?
I’ve been so still
Afraid of crumbling
Have I been careless?
Dismissing all the distant rumblings
Take me where I am supposed to be
To comprehend the things that I can’t see

Cause I need to move
I need to wake up
I need to change
I need to shake up
I need to speak out
Something’s got to break up
I’ve been asleep
And I need to wake up
Now

And as a child
I danced like it was 1999
My dreams were wild
The promise of this new world
Would be mine
Now I am throwing off the carelessness of youth
To listen to an inconvenient truth

That I need to move
I need to wake up
I need to change

I need to shake up
I need to speak out
Something’s got to break up
I’ve been asleep
And I need to wake up
Now

I am not an island
I am not alone
I am my intentions
Trapped here in this flesh and bone

Oh I need to move
I need to wake up
I need to change
I need to shake up
I need to speak out
Something’s got to break up
I’ve been asleep
And I need to wake up
Now

I want to change
I need to shake up
I need to speak out
Oh, Something’s got to break up
I’ve been asleep
And I need to wake up
Now"

Janis Joplin : " Busted flat in Baton Rouge, waiting for a train
And I's feeling nearly as faded as my jeans.
Bobby thumbed a diesel down just before it rained,
It rode us all the way to New Orleans.

I pulled my harp on out of my dirty red bandanna,
I was playing soft while Bobby sang the blues.
Windshield wipers slapping time, I was holding Bobby's hand in mine,
We sang every song that driver knew.

Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose,
Nothing don't mean nothing honey if it ain't free, now now.
And feeling good was easy, Lord, when he sang the blues,
You know feeling good was good enough for me,
Good enough for me and my Bobby McGee.

From the Kentucky coal mines to the California sun,
Hey, Bobby shared the secrets of my soul.
Through all kinds of weather, through everything we done,
Hey Bobby baby? kept me from the cold.

One day up near Salinas, Lord, I let him slip away,
He's looking for that home and I hope he finds it,
But I'd trade all of my tomorrows for one single yesterday
To be holding Bobby's body next to mine.

Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose,
Nothing, that's all that Bobby left me, yeah,
But feeling good was easy, Lord, when he sang the blues,
Hey, feeling good was good enough for me, hmm hmm,
Good enough for me and my Bobby McGee.

La la la, la la la la, la la la, la la la la
La la la la la Bobby McGee.
La la la la la, la la la la la
La la la la la, Bobby McGee, la.

Janis Joplin : " Sit there, hmm, count your fingers.
What else, what else can you do ?
Oh and i know how you feel,
I know you feel that you're through.
But go on sit right back down, go on and count,
Count your fingers,
My unhappy, my unlucky, oh my little, little girl blue.

Sit there, go on and count those raindrops
Oh, feel 'em falling down, all around you.
And all you ever had to count on,
All you ever gonna have to lean on
All you ever gonna need, dear, i wanna tell you right now
It's gonna feel just like those raindrops do
When they're falling down, honey, all around, all around you, yeah.

Sit there, go on, go on
And count your fingers.
I don't know what else, what else
Have you got to do.
Honey and i know how you feel,
And i know you feel that you're through.
Oh honey, go on and sit right back down,
I want you to count, count your fingers,
'cause you're my unhappy, you're my unlucky
You're my little, little girl blue.
Honey i know you are lonely,
Ooh, honey i know how you feel,
Honey i know how you feel, it's over
Honey i know just how you feel,
I said i swear i do,
Honey i swear, honey now now now now now,
Lord, now now now now now, just, honey just
Just how you feel.

You better try harder, man!"

Janis Joplin : " A woman left lonely will soon grow tired of waiting,
Shell do crazy things, yeah, on lonely occasions.
A simple conversation for the new men now and again
Makes a touchy situation when a good face come into your head.
And when she gets lonely, shes thinking bout her man,
She knows hes taking her for granted, yeah yeah,
Honey, she doesnt understand, no no no no!

Well, the fevers of the night, they burn an unloved woman
Yeah, those red-hot flames try to push old love aside.
A woman left lonely, shes the victim of her man, yes she is.
When he cant keep up his own way, good lord,
Shes got to do the best that she can, yeah!
A woman left lonely, lord, that lonely girl,
Lord, lord, lord!"

Guns N' Roses : " She's got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything
Was as fresh as the bright blue sky
Now and then when I see her face
She takes me away to that special place
And if I'd stare too long
I'd probably break down and cry

Sweet child o' mine
Sweet love of mine

She's got eyes of the bluest skies
As if they thought of rain
I hate to look into those eyes
And see an ounce of pain
Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place
Where as a child I'd hide
And pray for the thunder
And the rain
To quietly pass me by

Sweet child o' mine
Sweet love of mine

Where do we go
Where do we go now
Where do we go
Sweet child o' mine "

Guns N' Roses: " Mama take this badge from me
I can't use it anymore
It's getting dark too dark to see
Feels like I'm knockin' on heaven's door

Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door, hey hey hey hey yeah
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door, ohhh yeah
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door, hey hey yeahh

ohhhhh yeah yeah

ohh yeah yeah

Mama put my guns in the ground
I can't shoot them anymore
That cold black cloud is comin' down
Feels like I'm knockin' on heaven's door

Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door, hey hey hey hey yeah
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door, ohhh yeah
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door, hey hey yeahh

"You just better start sniffin' your own
rank subjugation jack 'cause it's just you
against your tattered libido, the bank and
the mortician, forever man and it wouldn't
be luck if you could get out of life alive"*

Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door..."

Guns N' Roses: " What we've got here is failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach...
So, you get what we had here last week,
which is the way he wants it!
Well, he gets it!
N' I don't like it any more than you men." *

Look at your young men fighting
Look at your women crying
Look at your young men dying
The way they've always done before

Look at the hate we're breeding
Look at the fear we're feeding
Look at the lives we're leading
The way we've always done before

My hands are tied
The billions shift from side to side
And the wars go on with brainwashed pride
For the love of God and our human rights
And all these things are swept aside
By bloody hands time can't deny
And are washed away by your genocide
And history hides the lies of our civil wars

D'you wear a black armband
When they shot the man
Who said "Peace could last forever"
And in my first memories
They shot Kennedy
I went numb when I learned to see
So I never fell for Vietnam
We got the wall of D.C. to remind us all
That you can't trust freedom
When it's not in your hands
When everybody's fightin'
For their promised land

And
I don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil war

Look at the shoes your filling
Look at the blood we're spilling
Look at the world we're killing
The way we've always done before
Look in the doubt we've wallowed
Look at the leaders we've followed
Look at the lies we've swallowed
And I don't want to hear no more

My hands are tied
For all I've seen has changed my mind
But still the wars go on as the years go by
With no love of God or human rights
'Cause all these dreams are swept aside
By bloody hands of the hypnotized
Who carry the cross of homicide
And history bears the scars of our civil wars

"We practice selective annihilation of mayors
And government officials
For example to create a vacuum
Then we fill that vacuum
As popular war advances
Peace is closer" **

I don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
And I don't need your civil war
I don't need your civil war
I don't need your civil war
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil war
I don't need one more war

I don't need one more war
Whaz so civil 'bout war anyway "
