Hmm...what to say?
Let's see...
I enjoy the outdoors, especially being by the water. I love art, music, film, theater, and a healthy dose of physical activity. As far as my music interests go, I will listen to anything and I'm not particular. I just love music in general, but most importantly the lyrics, they have big meaning for me.
Poetry?
Poetry for me is a celebration of the individual and individuality in general. It is an interation of egos, I think, but not egos in terms of self concerned people. I mean the ego as the original form of self, of soul. Poetry is a healing process and it's miraculous in its ability to take any form of knowledge or reasoning and changes, like a creature born to do that sort of thing. But it doesn't do this to hide from its seekers. Quite the opposite, actually. It does so to show them what they need to see. Poetry, whether written by the most simple or the most intelligent among us, or by the most passionate or unfeeling, takes on a different appearance for every person that reads it, and is of no less importance. Don't you find that amazing? A poem reflects the person reading it, just as it reflects the person writing it, so that no-one really knows what it actually looks like. That's why I write; to try to see poetry for what it really is.
