Hi everyone. My name is Adele Bemberry, and I love to write poetry. I started writing poems the day after my father was buried. I had so much pain, anger and loss in my soul, that the only way I could really let everyone know how I feel was through my poems.
I have two sons, Jameed Miles Bryant age 3 and Xavier Aziz Bryant age 9 months.
My children are my life. My husband is my life.
I cannot live without them. They are my strength.
I cannot live my life without God.
When I love God, I can love myself.
When I love myself, then I can love my family and all those around me.
I would love to share with you, one of my favorite verses from the holy quran....
Chapter verse 178
[2:178] It is not righteousness that you turn your faces to the East or the West, but truly righteous is he who believes in Allah and the Last Day and the angels and the Book and the Prophets, and spends his money out of love for Him, on the kindred and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and those who ask for charity, and for ransoming the captives; and observes prayer and pays the Zakat; and those who fulfil their promise when they have made one, and the patient in poverty and afflictions and the steadfast in the time of war; it is these who have proved truthful and it is these who are truly God-Fearing.
