Welcome all. My name is Damien Serrano. I will be short, I will be simple, for I am not one to ramble on forever about myself, for certain things are better left unsaid. I live in Italy for the time being and am the proud father of a wonderful little boy and loving husband to a beautiful wife. They are both the greatest blessings one could ask for. I'm no doubt an introvert and prefer to keep to myself, but that doesn't mean small company isn't welcome. I've been writing for 3 to 4 years. I may not be the best writer, and there are far more talented poets out there, but my works, though few, are descent. I don't write very much though, so it is rare that you will see frequent poems from me. In my opinion, there is no such thing as bad poetry. Poetry is an expression of the mind, the body, the spirit, and most importantly, the heart. You simply cannot place judgment on those things.
