SOUL ENSLAVERY
I am standing at the edges
of the lives I might have taken,
and I'm listening to probable paths
selling their perspectives.
I have travelled quite the distances
to see my own reflection,
though, all I've found is someone else
is looking in from out.
Pain is reigning down upon
the houses of the honored,
and the robes are muddied, bloodied, torn,
and far from recognition.
As our vessels grew and changed beyond
the limits we had given,
I am sinning and I'm saving us
from all we might have been.
I am standing back in Eden with
the Eve of my disaster.
I'd gone back in to the grave where I'd first
found my introspection.
I've returned, again, from saving us
from being our own masters;
but when I went to cut the branches off,
I saw you looking in from out.
Alright, I put anything not completely horrid on this site, which means that some of the near-horrid pieces see the light of day here. My best works, in my opinion, are: Imagination, Adam, Narcissus Awakening, and A Deity Within Me. Explore the others at your own risk, as many are years old.
