My Name is Trisha. I'm 16. I've been writing for years, but have kind of slowed down in the past year, so I decided it was time to pick things back up. I normally write short stories, but I like poetry, too. It's not really a passion, as it seems to be with other people. I have problems expressing myself, but find that when I write something down, be it a letter, a story, or a poem, I can actually get my thoughts to make some form of sense. It's hard for me to talk to people face to face, but I've got someone in my life that's making that easier. I may be young, but I've been through a lot. I don't pretend to know everything; I know I have a lot to learn. I won't start an argument unless I know what I'm talking about, but when something I feel strongly about is brought up, I stand my ground. I try to be more understanding, but I find out I know less than I thought I did every day. Maybe growing up is just another way of finding out that we're all just kids.

Sorry to advertise, but this has to be the most amazing thing I've ever read. It really got to me.
