In remembrance

~Margaret Collins~

~1934 - 2008~

My dear friend Margaret passed on the 4th of April...she was an amazing woman with a strong fighting spirit and never let her cancer get the better of her till the very end of her life. she was a special soul and i wish more people got to know her...i wish i got to know her better but i found this amazing woman too late.

i will never forget her and wait to see her again...

Poetry...where do i even begin?? its my life. to put it simply and literally because a lot of what i write is what i feel and what i'm going through. i absolutely love it and have been writing for many years, progressively maturing in my style and in my opinion i think i'm getting better as i get older.

Poetry...it runs through my veins. it's one thing that can never be taken away from me, and thats what love about it most. it is the only way i can express myself...i cant do it verbally most of the time so i write instead.

You'll notice a lot of my poems are dark...mainly because i love writing it but also because i often suffer with depression.

BUT, it ends here...i have decided to face life and overcome it...to not let it drag me down, it wont break me anymore. i am going to be ME and i'm not allowing people to get to me anymore, i know who i am and i know i dont deserve to be treated badly. i'm going to stand tall and strong and be the best person i can be and if people dont like that...well...they can go to hell cause i dont need them.
