My ultimate passion is writting. I have to feel strongly about something to write about it, to me, poetry is all about passion. For love or hate, or standing up for what you believe in.
It's not all passion and deep heart felt words though, once and awhile you've gotta let loose and have fun with it, just write to write, it dosn't matter about what, anything that comes to mind!
Writting is my life, I never go anywhere without my poetry notebook, I even keep it on my night stand when I sleep, just in case I get any sudden inspiration....at 3 in the morning....you'd be surprised how much that has happened.
I'm a true Elvis fan, and a Stargate SG-1 nerd. I cried when they cancelled the show, it's just so amazing!! Thus, I of corse wrote a Stargate poem called "Cheveron 7 Locked" Still gotta write an Elvis one though.
My bff is Brittany Bender, but I call her Jelly (yea, I'm peanutbutter) She's always there for me and always will be. It's hard to come by great friends like that. (you know, the kind that throw cow crap in your hair, and regularly get sneezed on by lama's, no, sorry, alpaca's)So, again, I wrote a poem in it, celebrating our over all sister love called "My Bff, Jelly"
Other BFF's of corse are
Tipper (Talk Like a Pirate Day! Arg!) (Living it up at the Hotel California!) (If I were a nobody could I do this, or this, or THIS?!)
Nikki- aka- my evil cuz, mwahaha
Amber Davis, You sexy biotch!!
Shane, who thinks a bit to much of himself, which is why I love you. l's! (2, with an O in the middle)
hahaha, I love you all!
Oh, my real names supposed to be Jen, but somehow it changed to Gooshawn, I like Gooshawn better, or tree hugger. Oh, and if I don't like you it's 'Ms. Liberal tree-hugger, vegetarian hippie freak" tehe.
I have a kitty, Fluffy-wussems, you can call her Fluffy if you must
I have an physco-rabbid bunny, named bunny. My doggy is Dakota, his b-day is a day before mine, cool!
My AP mommy: Tam
She has some of the best poems I've ever read, and if she's ever comented on your poems, then you already know what a delight she is just from that. Even in poems that I wasn't happy with and was going to deltete, she points out the great parts about it, and it always seems to remind me of just why I wrote that poem, and gives me inspiration. She's a wonderful poet, friend, and now, Mommy.
My AP sister: Purple-Pen (Trudy)
She hasn't any poems up yet, although she has written a few that I've read, she wants them to be perfect first. I love my Trudy, she should have an advise colum, she offers such wonderful advice to me anytime I need it, just like a sister would do. She lives on the other side of the world, and yet knows more about me than most of the people I see every day.
AP Atticus: Chipp, Seth.
Seth, you are my only true my Atticus. I'm still waiting until the day you come and swoop me off my feet.
My AP Grandma, Ally, Sealight
Even if she's only a month older than me, still my gram!
Now, I have one other passion, other than writing.
Animals. I'm a big Peta person and vegetarian.
It's easy, and contrary to what most people may think, It's also healthy. Meat has been proved to cause certain types of cancer (although, anymore, what dosn't cause cancer?) but also obesity and diabieties. Many people think that they need meat for protien, while meat may cary a lot of protien, there are other foods with it, and I'm not just talking about nuts. There are many meat substitutes. Theres boca burgers, and morning star burgers, nuggets, and veggie dogs. They're avalible in so many different variritys, chickon, beef, whatever, and it tastes great. There's even fake seafood. And relly, meat dosn't have that much protien, a craker with some peanutbutter on it has much more protien than a chiken leg.
-"30% of all animals raised for food in the USA are skinned and dismembered while alive, mooing, and looking around." according to The Washington Post (issue from Aprial 10, 2001)
-20% of pigs are conscious and struggling when dropped into vats of boiling water to remove their hair.
-chickens today are crammed into giant sheds with tens of thousands of other chickens, each with less space for movement than a standard sheet of paper. Their beaks are chopped off with a hot iron, causing many to starve to death because eating becomes so painful. After six weeks, they're loaded onto trucks and carted to slaughter, without food or water and through all weather extremes--many dying of heat exhaustion or by freezing to death. Finally, they are shackled and their throats slit, often while they are fully conscious. By the time they reach the slaughterhouse, 90 percent of chickens have suffered broken legs or bone deformities. Lives are similar for cows, pigs, turkeys, and other animals raised for food.
--Please.. DON'T LOOK AWAY! You don't believe it only because you don't want to believe it, but the cold hard truth is, there are few laws in the USA protecting animals raised for meat. These animals suffer abuse that would be illigal if inflicted on cats or dogs. Please don't close your eyes, but be the voice for the speechless!
You can change the world, If you believe it. Simply by becoming vegetarian you are saving about 95 lives a year.
-check out goveg.com for basic vegetarian info.
Luv You all!!! (unless I hate you, but if I hate you, then you probably would hate me, and therefor would not be on my authors page.....)
