I've written many poems on and off this site One thing I have failed to do is tell about myself so readers get a feel on who I am as a person
I think of myself as a honest person but nobody is perfect. I like to write and I love to help people. I help people more than I help my own self. I've always been like that.

My ethnic background doesn't matter because it doesn't define who I am as a person. I am 5'1 and lovin' it. Sometimes being my height can be a drag. I can't reach things sometimes and have to ask someone taller than me to get it. Totally off the subject but I have got to say this. This is for everybody who likes reading my poetry. I have got to apologize for not being on the site as I should and not posting my new poetry. This is only because my computer has broken down on me and I can only get on the internet when I'm in certain places. So bare with me. I try to make it here when I can.

Now about my boyfriend. I no longer have one. I feel like in this stage of my life I really don't have the time nor patients for one. I am trying to get my life back on track. When I do then maybe, just maybe, I'll squeeze one in.
I still think this is a wonderful site for younger or older people to express their feelings, thoughts, or fantacies. Now that I'm much older, I have learned to appreciate this site more and more every time I visit. This is like my comfort zone. I can say just about anything I want to get off my chest. I also get the benefit of letting others give me critiques about my poems. Some people get mad if someone says something negotive about their work. I look at it as a growth process. I can only get better and learn more by letting others share with me how they perceive my work. So thank you everybody who gave me an honest critique. I really do love you all.

klassy lassy on December 6, 2005I wanted to thank you for visiting my page today...and reading A Time to Remember.
Looking at you page, I have to smile. My daughter, who takes after her dad, is just 5' tall. When she was in highschool, the guys used to rest their elbows on her head. She came home one day, non-plussed to say the least, and said to me, "Mom, the least you could have done is to have married a guy with legs!"
