So my name is Amy,
I am not religious although i have a spiritual side.
It is pretty easy to judge these days
I am straight
My family and friends are amazing and i wouldn't be me if they weren't around. My poetry is from me, i write it down and then change bits as i write them onto the computor. I don't know whether i have a style of writing...if i do i don't know what i would call it. i guess i like to keep my writing short and to the point. people can get easily bored if it is a really long poem and sometimes the meaning can get lost. I really would love to be a song writer and to be able to hear people singing my songs...i can't sing at all so yeah.
I also want to be a successful documentary journalist...
My idol is
Michael Moore.

I get inspiration from music lyrics, people talking, quotes, world's events at the time and my own life. There is a few lyrics from certain artists i would like to share with you as they have helped me and gave me an insight to just how far you can go with your writing and i respect them for that.

I want to express my beliefs, my pain, my messages, my ideas so i write poetry. I express everything i can into my poems and if people don't like that then its not my problem. I write the harsh truth. I don't leave anything out. People who don't want to know the truth write about puppies and clouds in the blue sky...they hide from the truth. life is reality and i write that in my poems. Some people hate that and that is just what i am going to have to put up with. My poetry might not relate to you, you may not agree with it, but please don't get offended as it is never intentional,as i said i speak from within me and sometimes what i have to say hurts.

So yeah that is me i guess. my poems are about me mostly, my life growing up. I write in double meaning sometimes because i like my poems to make people think.
