I am not perfect.I never will be.

My hair will be wrong, my make-up is always smudged,

I will never be a size 4 or even an 8 for that matter.

I say stupid things and sometimes my life is upsidedown.

I like it that way or I would change it.

I don't need your approval.

I don't need your glance that tells me just what you think of me.

I just like me the way I am with all my smudged, messy, and yet seemingly straightlaced life style.

I am imperfect because sometimes I'm clumsy.

I like to laugh out loud til it hurts and swimming in my clothes sounds nice.

I am the way I am because I love it.

The tattooed and pierced, poetry writing, messy, pink loving person that I am.

Siren of the Poets

Embracing strength,

stalking down the pathways

to the darkness within,

she is an angel to stolen innocence.

Her ink filled kisses

lure the lost,

pink light undeniable in the shadows.

Whispered seduction,

she is the intoxicated protector.

The goddess of second chances,

her faith does not waiver

and she is a gift to her friends.

Poetically,

she defeats boredom and despair,

and the breathless tears of broken lovers.
