As you can see, I've changed my username on here. "C-RodKester" just got kind of old...especially for something that I'd like to start taking more seriously now. I'm going to submit my poetry to numerous publishers and see if I can't get anything published.
Wow. So things sure do change...and fast! It's been a good while since I've been on allpoetry. Just really havent had the time or the will to write much lately. Hopefully, that will change soon. In 2006, I've gotten married, had a beautiful baby girl and joined the army. This occured in March, April and May, respectively. To anyone reading out there who's been following me for a while, sorry I let you down for a good minute. I'm gonna try and make a return to this thing we call poetry.
By the way, It would be really cool if some of you guys decided to actually read some of my poems and comment on them. And if you're really into it, read another. Feedback will be returned, mos def. Keep it real. That's all we can do.
P.S.-If you actually do leave comments on my poems, try to be constructive. Don't just say, "how sad. I like it." No poem is perfect. Tell me how to make it better. If it's legit, I'll gladly listen!
