Umm....I like writing poetry about a sort of lost love or an obsessive love or something that deals with the darker side of the human mind. I definately prefer free verse poetry. It's too much work to ryhme it all and then make sure the beats mesh together. I just want to think about the poem and the idea and what I want to convey. To me, a peom is like a glorified paragraph. You find an idea and then write about it.
