A vacant look covered her face,
she listened to invisible demons
whispering their twisted words in her mind.
She stood at the edge of the window,
not daring to breath,
the game continued inside her head where
quietly, belong the secrets of
her surrender.
A hollow shell where once, radiant
memories lived. A delicate, crystal
rose that was
once perfection.
Where a kiss that existed before a
tragedy, with concrete boots stamps out
the fantasy.
That mirage, a whisper, now haunted,
filled with regret of a life left
unfulfilled. That abyss of forsaken promises,
left bleeding in the dusk.
Her ebony soul filled with the ashes of love,
a broken heart now filled with self hate.
Desiring the opposite of life, so much,
that no angel flying at the speed of light
could ever save. She went beyond their help
forever.

Darling AM
Our wants do taunt
and, well, sometimes haunt
why cannot we maintain
what everyone else gains.
Yet, at night sometimes
we see things sublime
answering all our quieries
though awakening becoming bleary.
If I knew chemistry
with Pixie Wiccan alchemy
I'd mix a potion
to ensure love's devotion.
