The song of Felicity

The look is turning back toward itself
The looker dissolves into the Self
Nothing remains save for the Self itself.

How delightful the sound of emptiness
How peaceful the perfume of oneness
How graceful the light of nothingness.

Felicity unburdens every one
Felicity does belong to no one
Felicity and I are only one.

I wonder why you didn't win the trophy. Sheer prejudice. Great piece, beautiful.

Thank you, brother, for steering me here to this joyful song in English. Yes, I Am each of the attributes of What Is, for "the Father and I are one".

Peace to you and my sister marion.

    dear jean-marc,
thank you so much, dear, for having entered my contest with such an uplifting write. your peaceful nature shines through your words of wisdom.
I love ingrid's comment on your poem refering to janaka and especially the very last phrase of shankara's answer to him.
    delightful.
this would be a wonderful little comment in the author's comment-box of your poem, just an idea ...

    Hallo Jean-Marc,
    Yes, yes, yes...!
    What else could I say?

    With best wishes

    Ingrid
PS. Do you know the story of Shankara and Janaka taking a Walk?
Janaka saw a beggar and asked: Am I a beggar, dreaming I am a king, or a king dreaming to be a beggar?
"None of both", Shankara answered. "You are the eternal self!"
"I am the Self!" Janaka shouted in a sudden understanding."Yes" Shankara said , "That is the last hindrance".
